__________1. A type of fiction which is under the umbrella of the short story and is mainly
regarded to contain a limited amount of words that runs from 250-1,000.
__________2. A piece of prose fiction that typically can be read in one sitting and focuses on a
self-contained incident or series of linked incidents, with the intent of
evoking a "single effect" or mood.
__________3. A type of prose fiction, which is shorter than full length novels and longer than
short stories.
__________4. The time and place (or when and where) of the story. It's a literary element of
literature used in novels, short stories, plays, films, etc., and usually
introduced during the exposition (beginning) of the story, along with the
characters.
__________5.  A literary term used to describe the events that make up a story, or the main part
of a story. 
__________6. Refers to who is telling or narrating a story. 
__________7. A central topic, subject, or message within a narrative
__________8. Refers to the different drives of the characters or forces involved. Conflict may be
internal or external—that is, it may occur within a character's mind or between a
character and exterior forces, (or point(s) of view)
__________9. This particular type of character focuses on directly providing a description of the
characters to the readers.
__________10. This type of character can be associated with characters who are complex and
whom you will typically meet in your everyday life. They can be both
likeable and unlikeable because they have diverse set of attitudes, behaviors and
beliefs.
__________11. These characters are the ones that do not change all throughout the story. They
stay the same as the story unfolds.

__________12. They are the ones who give life to a story for they are the ones who engage in
various actions, situations, and circumstances.
