__________1. A type of fiction which is under the umbrella of the short story and is mainly
regarded to contain a limited amount of words that runs from 250-1,000.

self-contained incident or series of linked incidents, with the intent of
evoking a "single effect" or mood.
__________3. A type of prose fiction, which is shorter than full length novels and longer than
short stories.

literature used in novels, short stories, plays, films, etc., and usually
introduced during the exposition (beginning) of the story, along with the
characters.
