1. Why Agriculture is an industry?

According to John spacey, (2019) the agriculture industry is the sector of the economy that
produces livestock, poultry, fish and crops. This is a vital industry that is important to the
food security of every nation and region.

2. Why Agriculture is a science?

The agriculture is an art and science of cultivating the soil, growing crops and raising
livestock. It is includes the preparation of plant and animal products for people to use and
their distribution to markets agriculture provides most of the world’s food and fabrics.

3. Why agriculture is a profession?

According to Poorna Potluri (2017) Agriculture is an occupation, which is there from


beginning of the mankind, i.e. it may be around from many thousands of years and it is very
much true that our civilization started only because of agriculture. The farmer who take up
agriculture as an occupation have so much knowledge about various aspects including soil
fertility, seasonal crops, rainfall expectations, pesticides, crop rotation technique, farming
equipment, etc. which demands it must be given as much as important as any other
profession in the word.
