 Recall that when multiplying fractions, you simply multiply the numerators
and the denominators and then simplify the result.

Canceling the GCF of the numerator and the denominator first before performing
multiplication will make the resulting product in simplest form already. For example,

 When dividing rational expressions, you follow the same process in dividing
fractions, just multiply the algebraic expression by the reciprocal of the divisor.
