SYNOPSIS

The project entitled as “Daily-Expense-Tracker-Project”. This project is a web based


application developed in PHP and MySQL as backend which can be used by all the people to use
it at any time from any place.
Daily Expense Tracker System is designed to keep a track of Income-Expense of a
Housewife on a day-to-day basis. This System divides the Income based on daily expenses. If
you exceed day’s expense, system will cut it from your income and will provide new daily
expense allowed amount. If that day’s expense is less, system will add it in savings. Daily
expense tracking System will generate report at the end of month to show Income-Expense
Curve. It will let you add the savings amount, which you had saved for some particular Festivals
or days like Birthday or Anniversary.
This system will be used by House-Wife to control their Income-Expense from Day-to-
Day to Yearly Basics. And to keep a watch on their expense.

Module

 User: Daily-Expense-Tracker-Project has to register to the portal. After registration she


can login to the portal. There she gets two options, add income and add expenditure. She
can add how much she wants to save and how much she wants to spend. Based on her
input system display maximum expenses allowed for her in a day. If she expense more
than that particular amount system deduct exceed amount from her income, if she
expense less than that particular amount system adds remaining amount to her savings.
She can also generate an income-expense curve to analyze the data.

Existing System

Daily-Expense-Tracker-Project follows traditional and classic system to save money.


They don’t keep the track of their expenditure and manually it’s difficult too.They usually spend
the complete income and end up with no savings.

Proposed System

This proposed system of tracking daily expenses is a very healthy tool towards the
method of financial savings. In this process system fixed the daily expenses allowed for a house
wife based upon the income details given. If she exceeds the expenses in a particular day it
display a warning message and cut the exceed amount from her income and gives new daily
expenses allowed. If expenses are less in a particular day it adds the remaining amount in her
savings which she is saving for some particular event like anniversary, birthday, festival etc. An
income expense curve is also generated at the end of the month.
