PROBLEM STATEMENT

“A study to assess the effectiveness of Structured Teaching Programme on


knowledge regarding non-pharmacological management of nausea and vomiting in
patients undergoing chemotherapy, among staff nurses working in oncological
units of selected hospitals in Guwahati.”

OBJECTIVES:

 To assess the pre test knowledge regarding non-pharmacological


management of nausea and vomiting in patients undergoing
chemotherapy among staff nurses
 To assess the post test knowledge regarding non-pharmacological
management of nausea and vomiting in patients undergoing
chemotherapy among staff nurses
 To assess the effectiveness of Structured Teaching Programme
regarding non-pharmacological management of nausea and vomiting
in patients undergoing chemotherapy among staff nurses
 To find the association between the knowledge regarding non-
pharmacological management of nausea and vomiting in patients
undergoing chemotherapy, among staff nurses working in oncological
units in selected hospitals in Guwahati with their variables.
PROBLEM STATEMENT

selected hospitals in Guwahati.”

OBJECTIVES:

 To assess the prevalence of Restless Leg Syndrome among nurses


 To find out the prevalence of Restless Leg Syndrome along with its
varying intensities that is severe, moderate, mild, or none in nurses
 To find the association between prevalence of Restless Leg Syndrome
among nurses with their selected variables

and 3rd year B.Sc nursing students
 To assess the post-test knowledge regarding surgical asepsis among
2nd and 3rd year B.Sc nursing students
 To assess the post-test practice regarding surgical asepsis among 2 nd
and 3rd year B.Sc nursing students
 To assess the effectiveness of a Structured Teaching Programme on
knowledge and practices regarding surgical asepsis among 2nd and 3rd
year B.Sc nursing students
 To find the correlation between knowledge and practice regarding
surgical asepsis among 2nd and 3rd year students.
