On February 11, 2022, the Court held a hearing pursuant to Utah Code Ann.

Section 77-15-6. The defendant was present and represented by counsel, Samuel

Hanseen. The State was represented by Mikelle Daugherty. The Court, having read the

Evaluation of Competency to Proceed to Adjudication authored by Sharelle Baldwin,

Ph.D finds:

1. Mr. Kenyon is currently not competent to proceed to adjudication.

2. With continued treatment, there is a substantial probability that he

can become competent in the foreseeable future. Specifically, restoration

is anticipated in six months.

3. The court extends the defendant’s commitment for ongoing

competency restoration proceedings under Utah Code Ann. 77-15-6(6)(a).

ORDER

WHEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the defendant remain committed

to the Department of Human Services or a designee for the purpose of restoration

treatment.
