CITRAWARNA PERFORMANCE AND RESEARCH REPORT

TOPIC : MULTI RACIAL AND NATIONAL UNITY (CHAPTER 5)

INSTRUCTION:

1. This is GROUP assignment consist of 10 students per group.


2. Students are required to perform an ethnic traditional dance in Malaysia by recording
the dance and need to submit the task through online (video/YouTube).
3. Students will also need to produce a research report on the ethnic traditional dances.

Note:

If there are any problems in completing this assignment, please consult with the
respective lecturers.

CITRAWARNA PERFORMANCE:

1. Students are required to form a group of 10 members. Each group needs to appoint
a leader and then divide the tasks equally to all members.
2. Each group is required to perform a traditional ethnic dance in Malaysia. The dance
name will be given and students may consult with their respective lecturer on the
traditional ethnic dance such as Malay/Chinese/Indian/Bumiputera/Peranakan.
3. Students are also required to present their performance for duration 7-10 minutes
through recording mode.
4. It is compulsory for each student to perform the task.
5. Each group must submit the task on the date set by the lecturer.

6. The division of performance criteria is based on the rubric that has been set as
follows:

RESEARCH REPORT:

1. Based on the same topic given by the lecturer, each group will conduct a research
report based on the traditional dance of ethnic groups in Malaysia
(Malay/Chinese/Indian//Bumiputera/Peranakan).
2. The objectives are to understand the traditional dance elements such as the history,
the meaning and objectives, the ethnicity involved, traditional dance costumes, the
musical instruments used, style and form of dance.
3. The division of research report criteria is based on the rubric that has been set as
follows:
