TOPIC 01: AIRLINE RESERVATION SYSTEM

ABSRACT:

This software helps passengers to look up flights between two points which can
be domestic or international. The passengers can find and book tickets for flights
through this software. Developed in Java, it is fairly easy to use software having a
user-friendly interface
INTRODUCTION:

Airline reservation System is a computerized system used to store and retrieve


information and conduct transactions related to air travel. The project is aimed at
exposing the relevance and importance of Airline Reservation Systems. It is
projected towards enhancing the relationship between customers and airline
agencies through the use of ARSs, and there by making it convenient for the
customers to book the flights as when they require such that they can utilize this
software to make reservations.
After search the system display list of available flights and allows customer to
choose a particular flight. Then the system checks for the availability of seats on
the flight. If the seats are available then the system allows the passenger to book
a seat. Otherwise, it asks the user to choose another flight
To book a flight the system asks the customer to enter his details such as name,
address, city, state, and credit card number and contact number. Then it checks
the validity of card and book the flight and update the airline database and user
database. The system also allows the customer to cancel his/her reservation, if
any problem occurs.

FUTURE SCOPE OF PROJECT:

Airline Reservation System is one the modifications that were carried out in the
Passenger Service System so that the working and availability of Service area can
be broadened. On one hand, it helps the customers and on the other, it also
makes the life of the airline service companies easier by keeping all the records
of the passengers and if there is any change in the fight due to some reason,
the passengers are promptly informed. This system is also used by companies
to keep track of user preferences of regular travelers so that they can provide
better service and give offers to customers.

TOPIC 02: SCIENTIFIC CALCULATOR

ABSTRACT:

Calculators are part and parcel of modern education. Involvement of science


and engineering in different fields of knowledge is increasing with each bit of
time is passed by, and they are playing a role in description and characterization
of the delicate phenomena of nature arising day by day. These fields of
knowledge and mathematics in particular, are influencing even those distant
branches of knowledge, which were so far imagined to be free of mathematics.
Even art is not free of mathematics and there exists mathematical art.
Computations are getting lengthy and complex specially in design and analysis
of engineering systems. Scientific calculators are handy tools. But an efficient
computation is a skill that can be developed.

INTRODUCTION:

It is a scientific calculator application. It is used to calculate the math functions


easily. In this application two types of calculators are there
1.standard calculator
2.scientific calculator
first one is very simple to solve arithmetic operations. And also convert the result
into either integer or float pointing number.
Second one is scientific notation type math functions are there like sin.cos,tan,log
etc. it is very useful to solve the odd math calculations in less time and in simple
manner and also easily to use. Especially we used menu bar with two items one is
standard and second one is scientific after clicking the standard item it will shows
the standard calculator after clicking the scientific item it will shows the scientific
calculator with standard also.

FUTURE SCOPE OF PROJECT:

Our project will be able to implement in future after making some changes and
modifications as we make our project at a very low level. So, the modifications
that can be done in our project are: To make it screen touch so no need to touch
key buttons and one more change which can we made is to add snaps of the
person who use it.

errors -- the algorithm's arcsin(arccos(arctan(tan(cos(sin(9)))))) should come out 9
on standard floating point hardware, but for CORDIC it's a pathological case that
produces different rounding errors on each chip that it is implemented on. The
algorithm is primarily used to identify the manufacturer of a particular calculator's
CPU, since it is usually reproducible between chips of the same model.

TOPIC 03: Online student Result Management System

ABSTRACT:
The main objective of this project is to provide results to the students in a simple
way. The students can get results through the college/institution website through
their roll numbers. By analyzing the result status and applying the standard
calculation followed by the University the result is displayed with individual
scores and the equivalent percentage. The system is intended for the student. The
student can login through their login id and password to check their respective
results. This can be achieved with web development technologies like HTML,
CSS, PHP, JavaScript and using the database MySQL. The faculty can view the
overall performance of the students in the semester examinations subject wise.
The visualization of the overall results according to the subject (The percentage of
pass and fail in a particular subject) can be done using fusion charts.
INTRODUCTION:
The student result management system has been developed
to override the problem prevailing in the practicing manual system this software is
supported eliminate and, in some cases, reduce the hardship faced by this existing
system. Moreover, the system is design for the particular need of the company to
carry out the operation in a smooth and effective manner

The application is reduced as much as possible to


avoid error while entering the data. It also provides error message while entering
invalid data. Of formal knowledge is needed for the user to use this system this
this by all it proves it is user -friendly. one result management system can lead to
error free secure reliable and fast management system.

FUTURE SCOPE OF PROJECT:

The main objective of this system is to provide the student an convenient


and simpler way to check their results and for evaluating the total aggregate and
the percentage for the semester results available. It assists the faculty and student
to analysis his/her and the whole class performance in a subject. Makes work
simpler for teachers as well as for students.
