SENIOR\JUNIOR SECURITY OFFICER

Now that you play an integral role in our team, you are required to perform all the following
details:

JOB PURPOSE

(Senior\Junior) Security Officer is responsible for providing an efficient, well-managed security


system for the safety and well-being of the Guests, employees, visitors and company’s assets.
The job holder has immediate authority and enhance the compliance in secure and safe practice
guided by Security SOP and Resort’s rule and regulation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALITY ASSURANCE:
 Attend briefing by department head as schedule
 Comply with Resort regulation and policy, and Security SOP as well.
 To react promptly and efficiently with any emergency and report any incident, accident,
crime, fire, risk potential involving either our staff or guest immediately to Senior Security
Officer\Security Manager.
 Review CCTV and report to Security Manager any special.
 Take over as well as hand over the next shift to next shift leader: roll call, grooming check,
duty briefing, logbook, all equipment inventory, ….

 Leading by example, providing excellent self-disciplines, support other security posts
whenever necessary.
 Ensure workplace are clear and clean at all times.
 To report anything abnormal or damage to relevant department and make sure the
necessary follow up are properly done during the shift
 Patrol to ensure secure and safe practice compliance, resort’s rule and regulation
enhancement by all associates
 To be aware of daily event such as VIP arrival, special party, move luggage, contractor fitting
out, …
 Operate and maintain department.al standard operation procedures (SOP)
 Periodically inventory fire safety equipment, key control, lost and found control.
 Train new security staff some basic sop such as grooming, gate pass, key\access control,
garbage check and rubbish control, staff check, patrol, … as assigned.
Key responsibilities of Security Officer:
 Perform 3 shift duty as daily job description for Security officer:
Morning: 06AM – 14PM
Afternoon: 14PM – 22PM
Night shift: 22PM – 06AM
And\or other timetable as the job requirement
1. In the Site (Staff Entrance) Gate:
 Ensure all enterer are within proper control, especially in Covit-19 pandemic such as:
facemask wearing, temperature checking with record, QR code scanning, hand sanitizing ,…
 Visitor registration: contact with resort’s officer whether they are available or not, offer the
escort by a certain officer, register and deliver Visitor Card, noted down time in\out with
vehicle plate number.
 Contractor: ensure Work Permit brought with and safety equipment, tools, worker ID
matched as registered, picture taken for record and comparison. Engineering and related
personnel be informed. Contractor card issued with recorded.
 Get familiar with Vendor, ensure parking properly with Vendor card issued, vehicle record.
2. Security Room (CCTV):
 Ensure all suspected activities vie CCTV are being informed to patrol post\key personnel for
proper escalated action. Pay attention to vulnerable area such as the crowded, entrance,
kitchen, kid room,…
 Monitor staff finger scanning in time machine.
 React with any alarming efficiently follow SOP.

 Perform Key control\Telephone procedure
 Record all activities in the Log.
3. Patrol:
 Ensure patrol routes are taken efficiently and logically to enhance the safe within the
premier.
 Ensure no loitering or intruder in to guest area, trolley and buggies not obstacle the way,
clear and clean at all area
 Fire life safety equipment, hygiene are all in proper condition. Escalate to relevant key
personnel if any abnormality found, keep chasing the info until done.
 Enhance guest orient, resort regulation practice upon patrolling with risk potential finding,
communication skill practicing.
 Record in each patrol key point.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Environmental care by re-using, recycling, or selling waste; conserves water and energy at all
available opportunities and maintain clean surroundings of all resort areas.
 Understand and adhere to relevant workplace health and safety standards, the resort’s
security and emergency policies and procedures.
 Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any resort activity
related to Fire Life safety. 
 Safeguard all information relating to the resort, guests.
 Comply strictly to the resort codes of conduct, resort regulations.
 May assist with other duties as assigned by Security Manager.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Education:  High School or equivalent education is preferred.


Experience:  Familiar with Hotel life fire safety and procedure
 First Aid skill
Knowledge and Skills:  Displays a confident and professional manner
 Exhibits high level of attention to detail
 Displays flexibility and high energy levels
 Demonstrates strong personal organization and time
management skills
 Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
 Meets resort grooming standards
 Extensive knowledge of the resort
 Be technological saving
Language:  Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary
language(s) used in the workplace.
 Basic English
Mandatory:  Statement of honest and no criminal record.
