In some places around the world the PS4 has been announced with confirmed release dates. Canada and the US
will be able to enjoy the PS4 on Novemeber 15th of 2013, while other regions of the world are able to experience it
a couple of weeks after. The announcement was made by Sony during their press conference at Gamescom 2013.
The company states that by the end of this year the Playstation 4 is going to have thirty three titles to choose from,
such as NBA 2k14, Skylanders Swap Force, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Madden 25, FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, NBA Live,
Need for Speed: Rivals, DRIVECLUB, Knack, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Watch Dogs, Just Dance 2014 and
Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes.
The Playstation 4 isn't going to be launched throughout all countries expected for its release on the same day. In
fact Japan is getting the Playstation 4 released to their country after the North American launch date. One hundred
and eighty PS4 titles are in development as outlined by Sony, therefore a huge selection of games should follow in
the year following the release. Since June 2013, the amount of developers together increased from 500 to just
about 620.
Video game streaming continues to be huge and Sony plans to make it well-known using their PS4 via Twitch.

The one thing you will notice the most from the Playstation 4 is its fresh look, it's bold and in your face, having

Playstation Pro which supports 4K resolution. Compared to the Playstation 3, it’s more modern and techy looking.
Like earlier next gen console releases, it looks big and bulky. The central processing unit is an AMD x86 with eight
cores, a graphics chip built-in with the central processing unit, 8 gb GDDR5 ram unified (against 512 MB of the
Playstation 3), an embedded 500GB disk drive, Blu-ray reader and more.
Some other details you may want to know:
If you intend to play older Playstation games, including anything from the PS3, you'll have to play them thru
Playstation’s cloud.
The DualShock 4 controller includes a touch pad in the middle, plus a share button and also a lightbar that moves
along with your actions, like the Playstation Move.
