ICheckin - Student Guide
• Login to iZone, and click on the iCheckIn button on the top menu bar, then
click on the “The iCheckIn App” tab
• Enter the code displayed as your Activation Code in your app, you can press
the button beside it to copy the code
• If the code doesn’t work click on “Generate new code” and try the new
code
• If you are switching phones, you can let us know by clicking on “here first”
App – Check-in Screen
• After device activation,
connecting and logging onto
Campus WiFi, you can proceed
to this screen
• It will display your last checked
in date and time
• In the middle of the screen you
can see the “Check-in” button
• On the bottom you can see the
2 tabs: “CHECK-IN” and
“HISTORY”
App – Check-in
• Once you tap the Check-in
button you will need to enter
the 5 digit iCheckin code
provided by the lecturer
• If the response is not
successful you may tap the
“Check-in” button to try again
• If your check-in is
unsuccessful, please ensure
you:
• Are on Campus WiFi (try
reconnecting if there is an issue)
• Entered correct code
• Are part of this class
(transfers/changes to class
listing will take time to reflect)
iZone - iCheckIn
• If you do not wish to use any of the Apps on Android/iOS, you will still
be able to check in from iZone
• Login to iZone on Campus WiFi or from a computer in one of the
learning Labs or Library, and click the iCheckIn button on the menu

• Once you reach this page,
you will be able to see your
Check in history and also be
able to check in
• Enter the iCheckin code
provided by the lecturer and
click the “Check-in” button
• If the response is not a
successful one please re-
enter the code then click the
“Check-in” button to try
again
Class – Check-in
• This is the lecturer’s screen, during class when the lecturer wants to
take your attendance, he/she will display this screen with the
iCheckin code and you will need to enter it into your app or on iZone
• Once you have entered the code into the app or iZone, and
successfully checked in, you should see your name move from the
right side “Not Checked In!” to the left side “Checked In!”
Class – Manual Check-in
• If you have no access to the App or iZone, you can inform the lecturer
and request to be manually checked in
• The lecturer can click the green/red button beside your name to
either check you in/out manually
History
• To see your Check-In history,
tap on the History tab on the
App
• Or, navigate to the iCheckIn
page on iZone
• It will display the date and
time of the Check-In along
with the subject
Help
• If there are issues to report or questions you need answered, please
email [email protected] and prefix the subject with iCheckIn
• If you have any feedback for the system, please fill in the survey, the
link is on iZone in the iCheckIn page, or navigate to
