1. How do you feel as you listen to the song? Or as you listen to the summary
of the movie?
It makes me sad because all the sacrifices and efforts of the parent
(mother) were not paid off instead it caused a problem between the family
members and the family has fallen apart all because of drugs.
2. What is the movie all about? Describe the situation of the lead family.
The movie is all about a family that has fallen apart because of drugs and
a mother who returned to the Philippines after working abroad just to find
out the situation of her children.
The national drug situation right now worsened because the drug war killings rise
during pandemic as did unnecessary arrests during lockdowns. “Drug war” killings in the
Philippines increased by more than 50 percent during the early months of the pandemic.
Nearly 8,000 alleged drug suspects had been killed during police operations. It only
means that the drug users or addicts are increasing.
2. Observe the people in your community. Develop a list of ways on how the local
helps the youth to prevent drug abuse and addiction.
