TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SCHOLARSHIP
1) The scholarships specified herein, are open to SPM and STPM examinations in 2010 for 2011
academic year’s admission.
2) For Pre-university Arts stream courses the minimum grade requirement for partial scholarship
application is 5 subjects with grade ‘A’ including a credit in English and a pass in BM.
3) For Pre-university Science stream courses the minimum grade requirement for partial scholarship
application is 5 subjects with grade ‘A’ including credits in Maths, one science subject, English
and a pass in BM.
4) For Diploma in Engineering programs the minimum grade requirement for partial scholarship
application is 5 subjects with grade ‘A’ including credits in Maths, Physics, English and a pass in
BM.
5) For bachelor courses, the minimum grade requirement for full scholarship application is HELP
Foundation in Arts/Science with CGPA 6.0 or equivalent.
6) For bachelor courses, the minimum grade requirement for partial scholarship application is HELP
Foundation in Arts/Science with CGPA 5.5 or equivalent.
7) The scholarship awarded shall be reviewed yearly where attainment of a minimum CGPA 2.75 is
required to be eligible for the following year’s scholarship.
8) For postgraduate courses, the minimum grade requirement for partial scholarship application is
Second class upper or equivalent.
9) Applicants must fulfill the specific entry requirements of the program.
10) Applicants who do not fulfill condition of the above minimum requirements shall be deemed as
exceptional cases and shall receive recommendations by the Principal.
11) Repeating subjects fees are to be borne by the students.
12) The scholarship does not include admission fees, external fees incurred and other administrative
charges.
13) Other terms and conditions of HELP scholarship shall apply.
