NAME OF THE PROJECT IN-SERVICE TRAINING (INSET) 2021

GOAL/PURPOSE
This in-service training shall act as an effective agent to enhance
educator’s performance and serve as a fundamental aspect to improve one’s
personal integrity and professionalism. Its key purposes are the following:
1. to promote gender awareness and sensitivity in the workplace and adopt
various means of GAD mainstreaming in education;
2. to conduct workshop on pedagogical strategies;
3. to provide updates on WINS Implementation and SBM Assessment
Process;
4. to keep educators be abreast with issues concerning the legal and ethical
aspects of a teacher and school head thereby enhancing their personal
integrity and interpersonal sensitivity.

DESCRIPTION
In line with the Department’s program thrusts, this Inset training is
designed to help educators be equipped with the latest pedagogical strategies in
teaching, keep up with updates on WINS Implementation and SBM Assessment,
and be abreast with promoting gender awareness and sensitivity in the workplace,
as well as enhancing personal and professional integrity.
This is a three-day School based In-Service Training on Enhancing
Professionalism (DepEd Order No. 001, s.2020), Personal Integrity and
Interpersonal Sensitivity, Legal and Ethical Aspect of Principal and Teacher,
Pedagogy of Teaching; School-based Management Assesment, WINS, Gender
and Development.

EXPECTED OUTCOME The following are the expected outcome of the training:

4. Improved GAD mainstreaming in education, gender awareness and
sensitivity in the workplace.

5. GOALS/OBJECTIVES:
The following are the key objectives of this activity:
- To vaccinate the remaining unvaccinated learners ages 12-17 years enrolled in public schools,
- To prepare learners for the upcoming face to face set up in schools, and,
- To attain the maximum herd immunity among the learners thereby preventing them against severe COVID-19
infection.

7. OVERVIEW/RATIONALE:

This Second Wave Pediatric Covid-19 Vaccination is a continuation of Bayanihan, Bakunahan which primarily
aims to vaccinate the remaining unvaccinated learners ages 12-17 years enrolled in public schools. This is to guarantee
that the learners are prepared for the upcoming face to face set up in schools, and safe enough against severe cases of
COVID-19 infection
