1. How much can you remember:

2. Vocabulary – Here are some words, that might be new for you:
To be on the road – travelling in a car, bus, or truck, especially for a long distance or a long period of time;
E.g.: I thought you’d be on the road.

Unbecoming – behaviour that is unbecoming is unsuitable for a particular type of person;


E.g.: Are you being sarcastic? That’s so unbecoming.

Emphasize – to say a phrase, word, or part of a word with extra loudness so that people give special attention to it;


E.g.: Emphasize it! No beets!

To insult – to say or do something offensive;


E.g.: Why? Because I insulted your mum’s cooking?

Punishment – rough treatment that a person or thing suffers;


E.g.: Let the punishment fit the crime.

Considerate - thinking about the feelings and needs of other people;


E.g.: Some people are not as considerate as you are.

To confront – to deal with a difficult situation;


E.g.: I can’t confront my mother.

To overhear – to hear what people are saying during a conversation that you are not involved in;


E.g.: I couldn’t help overhearing the grandma discussion.

To lighten up – used for telling someone to be less serious;


E.g.: My advice is lighten up on her.

Ignorant – not knowing something that you should know or need to know;


E.g.: How could you be so ignorant.

Literally –  the kindness someone shows when they buy you a present is more important than the gift itself;
E.g.: I didn’t mean that literally.

To brainwash – to force someone to accept a particular set of beliefs by repeating the same idea many times so that


the person cannot think in an independent way;
E.g.: No one’s been brainwashed.

Muzzle – something that you put around the nose and mouth of a dog to prevent it from biting people;


E.g.: I made you a gift. – What is it? – A muzzle.
