quality training for students in Information Technology and relates fields consistently to
satisfy the needs of regional and national development.
Objectives
1. To motivate the students to be IT professionals;
2. To train students on application installation, operation, development,
maintenance and administration;
3. To train students to become familiar and hardware installation, operation and
maintenance;
4. To develop awareness among students on the existing laws related to IT;
5. To expose students to the IT industry.
6. To prepare graduates of Information Technology Program who are total IT
professionals utilizing their knowledge of arts, science and technology with
nobility, integrity and sincerity.
This course will cover some of the core concepts in HCI relating to users and
technology use. These include the notions of the interface, interactivity and
interaction. Traditional ways of characterizing these aspects of the relationship
between technology and users will also be examined in terms of various usability
aspects.

Course Outcomes: Upon completion of the subject the student must be able to:
LO1: Identify and describe various HCI methodologies, including input and interaction types.
LO2: Articulate the co-dependency of the user and the technology in an HCI system
LO3: Learn and reflect on key concepts, theories, processes, and frameworks in interaction
design, and apply this knowledge to an interactive design process.
LO4: Analyze how the study of interface / interactivity /interaction influences the design of an HCI
system.
LO5: Apply some user-centered design methods to practical design problems.
LO6: Develop Basic prototypes with a range of interaction styles and technologies.
LO7: Apply knowledge and understanding of the interaction design examples in order to analyze
their situations and critically evaluate them in oral and written discussion.
