Your selection in our Bank for the post of OFFICE ASSISTANT (MULTIPURPOSE)
We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected for the post of OFFICE ASSISTANT
(MULTIPURPOSE) in our Bank, subject to completing the Terms & conditions mention as under :---
1) Clearance/Approval of Biometric Test
(Biometric Test arrange by Bank on 06-07-2019 at 8.30 a.m. at our Head Office, Aurangabad)
2) Documents verification with original, i.e. submission of Certificate of Age proof, proof of
eligibility, like caste certificate in prescribed format, Original Experience Certificate, Mark
Sheets / Certificates of educational qualifications etc.
3) Please note that you are required to execute indemnity bond for Rs. 50,000/- (Rs. Fifty
Thousand only). The bond should be properly witnessed and notarized by Advocate and to
be submitted along with attested Photo IDs and address proofs of surety and witnesses also.

You are hereby advised to call at our Head Office, Aurangabad on 06-07-2019 at 8.30 a.m. at your
own cost for completing pre-appointment above mention formalities.
Please note that the expenses for medical examination will be borne by you, which is likely to be
within the range of Rs. 1000/-. Please note that your selection is subject to you are being found
medically fit for Bank job.
The other terms & conditions of offer is as under :---
 If appointed, your services will be governed by MAHARASHTRA GRAMIN
BANK (Officers & Employees) Service Regulations, 2010.
 If appointed, you will be placed in the Pay Scale of Rs. 11765-655/3-13730-815/3-16175-
980/4-20095-1145/7-28110-2120/1-30230-1310/1-31540 + D.A. and HRA as admissible. You
will be designated as OFFICE ASSISTANT (MULTIPURPOSE).
 Your appointment will be on One year probation, at the end of which, subject to your
satisfactory performance and subject to your antecedents being found satisfactory, you will
be confirmed in the services of the Bank.
 Your confirmation in the OFFICE ASSISTANT (MULTIPURPOSE) cadre will be subject to your
making satisfactory progress during the probationary period and attaining the standards required
by the Bank, failing which, the Bank at its sole discretion, may either choose to extend the
probationary period not exceeding Six months to give you further opportunity / opportunities
and time to attain the required standard or terminate your service without assigning any reason.
Your services can also be terminated during the extended probationary period without assigning
any reason.
 You shall have to declare that the information given by you in the application / bio-data is up-to
date, particularly in regard to your present employment, if any.

 You will also be required to sign certain undertakings, as per the prevailing rules of the Bank before
joining the Bank’s service or at any time thereafter. If it is revealed, at any time that the
information given (including regarding your present employment) and the particulars furnished
by you to the Bank are materially incorrect or false or any particulars called for by the Bank,
which are suppressed by you, you will be liable to be terminated from the services of the Bank
without notice and this is without prejudice to the Bank’s right to take such action as the Bank
may deem fit from time to time.
 If you are serving in this Bank in any capacity, you will have to resign from the current post
and join afresh. In this case, you will have no lien etc., on your previous job and you will be
at par with other outside candidates.
 You may, at any time and from time to time, at the Bank’s discretion, be posted where the Bank has
or might hereafter open offices / branches.
 You shall have to produce a proper discharge certificate from your present employer, if any,
before the date you are required to report for duty. You shall also have to produce an
experience certificate, from your past employers, if applicable.
 Your services are liable to be terminated at the sole discretion of the Bank before the expiry of
period of probation including the period of extension of probation without assigning any reason
after giving one month’s notice or pay and allowances in lieu thereof. However, if you opt to
leave the job any time after appointment you will be required to give notice of PAY (Gross
Salary). The period of notice OR PAY required shall be --
I. One month, under Probation Period OR One month pay (Gross Salary).
II. Three months, after confirmation OR Three months’ pay (Gross Salary).
 In case of breach of clause I/II above, you shall be liable to pay to the Bank as compensation as
sum equal to PAY (Gross Salary) for the period of notice required. Any type of leave / absent
during the notice period will be increase the Notice period accordingly.
 Other terms and conditions of service, laid down by the Bank from time to time whether express or
implied or in vogue, for its employees will also apply to you.
 Your duties as a Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in the Bank will be such as may be assigned
to you from time to time, by the Bank. Your duties will include Cash Department, Accounts
Work , Typing, Computer Work etc.
 Police Verification of your character and antecedents- you will have to fill in Antecedent
Form (in Triplicate) to be sent by us to police authorities for verification of your character
and antecedents from Police authorities, which please note. (Form attached)
 You are also required to submit Rs. 500/- Non-judicial stamp in prescribed format. (Form
attached)
 You do not have any past criminal record. If it is found at later stage that you are having
past criminal record, your services will be terminated without assigning any reason.
 Language Proficiency :-- Selected Candidates are required to Language proficiency, i.e.
MARATHI (Written, Spoken & Reading).
You have to bring following Documents :--
(A) All Original certificates i.e.
 Date of Birth Certificate (10th class Mark sheet & Certificate with DOB) acceptable to the
Bank.
 SC/ST/OBC Certificate in prescribed Central Government format as also Caste validity
certificate, if applicable, issued by competent authority.
(OBC certificate should invariably contain ‘NON-CREAMY LAYER’ clause mention
in the certificate).
 Educational and professional qualification certificates, testimonials, mark sheets etc. for
verification to establish your eligibility prescribed by the Bank.

 Please bring this letter with your recent passport size 3 colored photograph (which should
tally with the one affixed on your application) duly attached with letter (not to be pasted).
(B) Reports from referees and previous employers, if any :- (Form attached)
 You should furnish two names & their other details such as present address for
correspondence and telephone/ mobile/ email address of the referees and employers to enable
us to send specimen formats of reports to them for obtaining confidential reports.(other than
persons who signed character certificates).
 In addition, if you are working or were working with any concern/ institution, antecedent
from present Employer and all previous employers, if applicable. Please give name and full
address of all such employers.
(C) You should bring three satisfactory character certificates as under :-- (Form attached)
 One- preferably from the Principal/ Head of the Department of last college / university
attended.
 One- preferably from Present Employer, if not applicable, from any Gazetted Officer.
 One- respectable person/s not in relation and knows the candidate (who knows for more than
1 year).
Your appointment and confirmation thereafter in the Bank’s service, is subject to receiving
satisfactory referee reports from the referees, Police Department and previous employers (if any),
which please note.
Please note that on successful completion of all pre-recruitment formalities, separate letter
of appointment and your posting order would be issued by the Bank.
If you are agreeable to the listed terms / conditions, please sign the duplicate & triplicate copies
of this offer letter & present to us on 06-07-2019.
Please also note importantly that in the event of no response, communication is received
from your side by 06-07-2019, it will be construed that you are not interested to join the Bank &
no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
