As this city’s primary aim is to create a tourist attraction of the state and it has
various recreational zones in the city, hence this could be a prime location that
connect all such zones.

networks in the world it has been planned as a liveable environment friendly smart and
happy city

Amaravati Central Park is being planned as a happiness hub of immorality with

amusement parks Wilderness Park theme parks eco resorts hotels musical fountains and
other entertainment facilities. Costa a marina will be the heart of these facilities linking
all of them the marina will have five interdependent components the marina and jetties.

The e marina will have a floating pontoon marina with WPC decking built to
international standards the marina will have facilities to charge electric boats and water
connection the marina will initially have ten births and expand to 25 births. As the city
expands specially designed floating jetties with waiting facilities for passengers will be
set up at various strategic points of the park to create a water transport network inside
the park.

Recreation a child-friendly floating water park will be built on the lake which can
entertain families and groups some of the most advanced innovative and safe watercraft
will be sourced from all over the world to provide a unique leisure boating experience
some of the products that are proposed our golf cruiser mini catamarans z go sport sports
centre console boats and luxury pontoon boats for families entertainment the a marina
will have dining boats to take the visitors around the park lake initially and take the
people around the city after completion of the water network.

people can get their daily dose of exercise by using human powered craft like pedal
kayaks pedal boats kayaks water bikes in the oxygen filled scenic lake there will also be
a indoor fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment providing a total fitness package.

all the components of Amaravati Central Park are planned around the lake the shortest
distance from one component of the park to another component of the marina passes over
the lake jetties positioned strategically near various components will create an internal
transport system between various components of the Central Park

The marina will act as a hub and the jetties will act as spokes this system can be
extended to other parts of the city as it expands a fleet of pontoon boats will be running
between jetties in regular intervals just like a city bus system. a smart water bike system
is proposed wherein the visitors can hire a water bike at the marina or at any of the
jetties right to his destination and leave it near one of the jettie. this will be in lines with
a smart bike system which is already started in number of ëthey this unique smart water
bike system will be the first in India this will be the starting point for an extensive smart
water bike system in a morality once the water network in amorality is completed these
smart water bikes can be used to conduct guided water bike tours of the city

Kosta Marina aims to bring the equipment facilities systems and practices to build a
vibrant boating ecosystem in the city it will be a start-up area that will seed world-class
water-based transport tourism and entertainment infrastructure befitting a world-class
City which Amaravati aims to be.

Background of the Study

The Government of Andhra Pradesh’s (GoAP’s) vision is to make Andhra Pradesh the most
preferred global destination by 2050. Andhra Pradesh is a progressive state and the
government is taking steps to provide an environment conducive to economic and social
growth.

Amaravati will meet the world class standards of livability, inclusive growth, economic
opportunities, and environmental sustainability. Amaravati is being developed with
significant international cooperation and support from many governments and private
organizations contributing towards infrastructure and other development of Amaravati.

A drastic change has been observed in the climatic conditions like severe summers, harsh
winters. On a hot day, stepping into the shade can make a temperature difference of 10 to
15 degrees, or even more, depending on the surroundings.

To maintain habitable conditions some traditional techniques as well as modern

techniques needed to be studied.

reduce the impact of heat and create shaded informal and formal spaces for the visitors.

Understanding their impact on macro climate and influence of these methods on user
behaviour. Investigating the features of a place (under a shading method) due to resulting
shadow. To attain optimal thermal comfort, some best-suited typologies are recommended.

Hypothesis

Developing semi-open and shaded regions in a warm and humid climate can achieve a
comfortable environment for pedestrians.

Aim

To prove the achievability of thermal comfort in a warm and humid climate using semi-open
and shaded regions by exploring various typologies of shading methods and their influence
on users.

garden restaurants, etc. to reach a level of interim thermal comfort. There are various
methods available to create a shaded region.

The goal of this research is to look at several shading strategies (permanent and temporary,
seasonal, and annual). Understanding the influence of these methods on user behaviour.
Investigating the features of a place (under a shading method) due to resulting shadow. To
attain optimal thermal comfort, some best-suited typologies are recommended.

environment.
● To conclude: Referring to an integrated typology and design intervention best suited
for the climatic region.
