1. Introduction
This document shows how to update the firmware of UCE-CT220S.
3. Connection
Firmware file (CT220S_firmware.bin) must be copied in UCE-CT220S U Disk. There are two ways
to recognize the device as an UCE-CT220S U Disk to PC.
First way,
Plug the UCE-CT220S with USB Cable to PC. SCAN and OFFSET buttons (Figure 1) are pressed
at the same time and then both buttons are released. When the device recognizes it as U Disk, the
LEDs in the RANGES group will flash. And it is listed in the 'Devices and drivers' (Figure 2).

Second way,
First, while pressing and holding ‘OFFSET’ button, Plug the UCE-CT220S with USB Cable to PC.
Finally, release the button. When the device recognizes as U Disk, LED of MODE 2 will light and it
is listed in the ‘Devices and drivers’ (Figure 2).
4. Firmware Update
After recognizing as U Disk, firmware file (CT220S_firmware.bin) must be copied in UCE-CT220S
U Disk (Figure 3). And then reset the device. To reset the device, you can unplug USB cable and
then plug it again.

After reset, the update progress will start. The progress of the process can be followed from the
LEDs on the device. At the end of the process, the firmware file is deleted.
