PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS: To be used in Experience Planning.

Please Sketch out ONE possible experience for

each SPICES area that the class is focusing on each week. For weeks where two Spices are presented, you will
sketch out TWO possible experiences and turn in two separate worksheets. You need to complete 4 of 6 SPICES
Worksheets with a score of 70% or higher during Honors 101.

For the purposes of the Worksheet, you should research an experience of your choice that takes place outside
of the classroom. It can be a program you join or a project that you completely design yourself. Please be
specific! “Internship” or “Study Abroad” is not specific enough. You should be researching opportunities: Answers
like “Internship in Finance and Accounting at PayPal” or “CIEE Summer STEM and Society in Yucatan, Mexico”
demonstrate that you’ve looked for opportunities that interest you – one of the goals of this course!

When all of your experiences are finalized by Week 7, you will pick a variety of experiences to form your
Experience Plan. Remember that experiences can be in the form of Honors courses, contracts, and independent
studies, an Honors pre-approved experience such as a special program, or an outside of the classroom
experience. We recommend that you develop these experiences by utilizing Peer Coach meetings, Counselor
Office Hours, and attending Peer Coach Experience Presentations.
