 Outline and discuss a plan to promote the value of the APN model to the public.
 Using the latest statistics and evidence, provide a compelling argument and a brief background
to the public about why APNP care is essential.
 Discuss how you would promote the value of utilizing an APN as a provider of services.
 Use data from sources that illustrate how efficient, and cost containing APNPs are versus other
health care provider roles. This is not an exercise that diminishes our other colleagues, but one
that promotes the value of the APNP role.

Responses need to address all components of the question, demonstrate critical thinking and analysis,
and include peer reviewed journal evidence to support the student's position.

Outline and discuss a plan to promote the value of the APN model to the public.

Current healthcare standards are currently directed on delivering personalized healthcare to patient.
These changing times have given the APRN the occasion to take on the responsibility for applying
evidence-based practices to successfully provide that level of care to their patients. The APRN performs
in the assessment and conclusion of physical and emotional diseases, helping patients with acute
illnesses, managing long-term illness, emergency treatment, wellness instruction, therapy, inquiries, and
management. (Sánchez-Gómez, Ramos-Santana, Gómez-Salgado, Sánchez-Nicolás, Moreno-Garriga, and
Duarte-Clíments, 2019).

Using the latest statistics and evidence, provide a compelling argument and a brief background to the
public about why APNP care is essential

APRNs are believers in health care guidelines. They have the medical proficiency and educational
education to provide care for patients of all ages and those with acute and chronic illnesses. Overall, the
pluses of the APN position have demonstrated they are able to increase services provided to patients
and decrease time spent in waiting rooms. (Sánchez-Gómez et al., 2019). ANPs have proven to be
successful and lucrative primary care providers despite restrictions by some states. (Sánchez-Gómez et
al., 2019). States with unrestricted ANPs have a reduced amount of patients admitted to the hospital
and have enriches wellness results of the patients in their populations. (Sánchez-Gómez et al., 2019).
Outcomes imply that barriers for the ANPN have the probability to adversely effect the wellness of our
country. (Sánchez-Gómez et al., 2019). Legal action ought to be removed to get rid of obstacles for the
APRN in the role of practice. (Sánchez-Gómez et al., 2019). Nearly all appraisals of care by APNPs have
an elevated value of approval by patients for the care provided by the APRN, and in some instances, rate
the care better than that by a medical doctor. (Sánchez-Gómez et al., 2019). This seems to be stemmed
from the information that the ANRN devotes more actual time with the patient, providing more info and
information. (Sánchez-Gómez et al., 2019).

Discuss how you would promote the value of utilizing an APN as a provider of services.

Reports demonstrate that APNPs are exceptionally economical. A investigative project by the RAND
Corporation (a not-for-profit that enhances policies and legislative information based on research
studies), predicts the utilization of APNP could save the state of Massachusetts from $4 to $8 billion
dollars in a 10 year period. (Cooke, 2020). Cindy Cooke, who is the president of the American
Association of Nurse Practitioners published an article with 10 ways APNP's ease the high cost of
healthcare and at the same time increase the quality of patient care. (Cooke, 2020).

Use data from sources that illustrate how efficient, and cost containing APNPs are versus other health
care provider roles.

APNPs lessen the expense of patient appointments in many difference healthcare environments.
Nursing Management magazine printed conclusions that demonstrated the use of an NP can save as
much as 23% of the fee for medical doctors. (Cooke, 2020). APNP's focus on the entire patient, mind,
body and soul. They incorporate the use of holistic therapies. (Cooke, 2020). They also provide
education about the need for a healthy lifestyle while educating about healthy eating and regular
exercise. (Cooke, 2020). Surveys from patients show a 50% approval rating of the listening skills of their
medical doctors but rate the NP with an 80% approval rating. (Cooke, 2020).

I enjoyed reading your post. The health our country is an essential support that influences all other
attributes of life. Due to this, it is essential to take into account the role that we as APNPs will have on
society. Conventionally, patient are aware of the value of a primary care nurse. But, with the fast
growing field of the APNP, and the role we will have in the healthcare system, it is necessary to include
the value of the APNP. This can be set in motion by informing the public about the impact the APNP will
have on this area of healthcare. (Bryant‐Lukosius et al, 2016). The background of the valuation of the
APNP function is significant. (Bryant‐Lukosius et al, 2016). Utilizing this valuation, the public will achieve
a comprehensive grasp of the role we can have.

Great post Mohamad. The functions that the APRN can play in the environment of healthcare has been
a topic that has drawn much attention worldwide by many scholars. For example, an organized study on
the subject of the APRN by Woo, Lee, and San deduce our role to be positive on the faster recovery
speed of patients, their level of approval, and lower costs for their healthcare. (Woo et al., 2017). I
would first make known that the use of an APRN as a primary care provider is very well educated and
proficient in the healthcare field. Compared to former providers, APRNs are much more proficient and
cost-effective. This is an extraordinary accomplishment when compared to the high costs of healthcare.

Hey Dr. B! I am sure there are numerous risks involved for the NP. A new NP is going to be much like a
new nurse. We lacked the experience and critical thinking skills needed to protect our patients' health
and welfare right out of school. For myself, as a new graduate, we had a pervasive and comprehensive
orientation period of four months. As a new NP, I am hopeful to be hired in a setting that will have
someone that will serve as a mentor and educator. As a new NP, there is an increased chance of legal
consequences if the care is inadequate, mistakes during diagnosing, and prescribing the wrong amount
of medication. (Thornton et al., 2020). Regardless of our proficiency and edification, we are assumed to
have as much knowledge as a physician. (Thornton et al., 2020).
