Stages in the life of a group


FORM ideas, people, talents, resources - from dormant to manifest
STORM opinions, perceptions, allocation of people, talent and resources
NORM standardize the standard activities; what gets measured gets managed.
PERFORM to transform complexity and specialization into performance – job of management

Admission Criteria
1. Must be chanting 16 rounds for at least 6 months.
2. Recommendation from counselor.
3. Has practiced public speaking before. Has desire and willingness to learn and teach KC.
4. Should give 4 hrs in week for this service (includes attending regular weekly meeting, homework
based on course material and preparing for assessments)
5. Committed to be punctual and fully present for at least 80% of the sessions.
6. Regular attendance in Sunday feast program.

Classroom Norms
1. Punctual and fully present, mobiles on silent mode.
2. Regularity in Homework n assignments
3. Hand raising for contributing in the discussion
4. Keep our commitments that we make – especially no of hours to be invested in getting
equipped and offering substantial service subsequently.

After Lotus VOICE training ---- What next? What should I do & How?
There are seven services/engagements waiting for you. You can choose one or more. Let us see how we
can render each of the services one by one.

1. Life management Seminars (One time seminars)


 Select one or two suitable schools, institution, society, association.
 Get the permission for one time.
 Conduct one time (two programs) with the help of your devotee partner.
 Analyze attendees and the feedback forms. Categorize attendees into four categories- Gem, Few
questions to be answered, some push is required and not interested. Conduct further preaching
and follow up.

3) Prepare thoroughly for one time programs and DYS.

2. Personality development courses n workshops (Conducting VOICE courses/


ISKCON courses)
 Follow all the standard procedure documents from Lotus VOICE database.
 Pay specific attention to gems and develop personal relationship with them.
 Club DYS pass outs (from 2 or 3 batches) together if needed and start a Positive Thinker course.
 Appropriately introduce them to temple and senior devotees.

3. Value Education
 Select one or two suitable schools.
 Get the permission for Value education for 7th or 8th standard students.
 Our additional aim is to make teachers into devotees. Spot out good cultured teachers, develop
relationship with them. Start cultivating them.
 Never give unprepared or last minute prepared classes thinking “these are children, I can make
it”.
 Aim is to prepare the value education books from LKG to 12th std for outside schools. We have a
team of devotees who are working on it. There are varieties of services like writing, editing, lay
outing, designing, printing and publishing.

4. Educational Curriculum development


 For age 6 to 16 yrs preparing academic, extra-curricular, personality development, spiritual
syllabus. Soliciting audio, video, text, materials; contacting talented teachers, organizations who
can help teach our syllabus topics.

5. Leadership excellence program (One to One Cultivation)
 Select Sreshthas in the society around you.
 e.g. education officers, farm owners, village heads, Govt. officers, ministers, politicians,
teachers, industrialists, bankers, friends, well wishers, colleagues, anyone and anywhere.
Method of preaching varies from person to person, field to field etc. You can take one time,
DYS, or bring to temple, offer balaji puja, give culturally KC. You have to decide based on time,
place and circumstance.

6. Vedic expedition tours, Introduction to Vedic culture, ISKCON Temples


 On weekends different groups of people from schools, companies, clubs etc. visit the temple for
getting introduced to the culture, philosophy and lifestyle of ISKCON. They are introduced to
ISKCON, its activities and what ISKCON can offer for them and what can they offer to society at
large.

7. Cultural activities, Contest & Competitions


 Krsna Painting- Guinness book world record, Gita contests, Summer camp
 Club/ School visit for festivals, Food festivals, cooking competitions, Dramas and musical events,
 Rathyatras, Kids and adult stall in fairs, Pune Krsna festival, Media presence

You can have your own target of making five or eight people into ‘favorable one round chanters’ in
next six months. Pray to Krishna for help and at the same time do your best.
