1. A dialogue between two friends talking about the importance of early rising.

Samir : Hello, Xian! What are you doing here early in the morning?

Xian : Hello, I am taking some physical exercise.

Samir : I have heard that you get up early in the morning and walk for quite a long time.

Xian : Yes, I do. I always get up minimum one hour before the sunrise and go for morning
walk.

Samir : What are the benefits of early rising?

Xian : Don’t you know the proverb, “Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy,
wealthy and wise.”

Samir : Please make it clear, Xian.

Xian : An early riser has many advantages. Firstly, the man who rises early in the morning can
take some exercise and walk in the morning fresh air in the open field. The morning air refreshes
both body and mind. Thus, he keeps a good health.

Samir : I see!

Xiam : Secondly, he can start his daily work earlier. As an early riser has enough time to work
and study, he can perform his work and complete studies properly in time. Thus, he earns more
money and studies more. As a result, he becomes wealthy and wise.

Samir : Right you are.

Xian : At the same time, he can go to bed early at night and have a sound sleep.

Samir : What are the demerits of late rising?

Xian : A late riser wastes a lot of time in sleeping. He doesn’t have enough time to perform his
work properly. Moreover, he can’t enjoy morning fresh air.

Samir : Thank you, Xian for your good advice. I was quite in darkness about the benefits of
early rising. Early rising is really a good habit and we must cultivate this habit from the
beginning of our life.

Xian   : You are most welcome.
