Procedure to Install Indraworks Software on non-compatible Operating System

List of Indraworks software and their compatibility with Windows OS:

 As per the above given compatibility details, user can install Indraworks software
directly on the PC or laptop without any change in the PC or software settings.

 But in case where the software with the user and the operating system in the PC
or laptop are not compatible with each other then the user has to follow the steps
given below for installing the software successfully.

Procedure for installing the software onto the PC or laptop with compatible OS:
Step 1: Open the software folder and double click on the setup.exe file.

Step 2: Select the installation language as English and click on Next.

Step 3: Select the category of product to be installed as per license key. For ex: If
license key is for Indralogic XLC then tick the second option in the window.

Step 4: Enter the license key which is supplied along with the software version.

Step 5: After entering the license key, valid text will appear in front of the products for
which the license key was entered. Tick all the products which this license key is valid.

Step 6: Click Next

Step 7: Deselect the option Show release notes and click Next.

Step 8: Accept the license agreement and click on next.

Step 9: Enter the user name and organization name and click Next.

Step 10: Select the path where the software has to be installed.

Step 11: Click on install to proceed for installing the software.

Step 12: After successful installation, the below screen will appear. Click on Next to
complete the installation.

Important Note: This software version was installed on the PC having the below
configuration. (Indraworks Engineering 12VRS -> Windows 7)

Procedure for installing the software onto the PC or laptop with non-compatible
OS:
Important Note: This software version was installed on the PC with below
configuration. (Indraworks 12VRS -> Windows 8 & Windows 10)

Step 1: Open the software folder and right click on the setup.exe file. Click on
properties.

Step 2: Open the Compatibility tab, and select the option “Run this program in
compatibility mode for”. Select Windows 7 from the list below. (Only when OS of PC is
Windows 8 or Windows 10)

Step 3: After changing the above given setting, double click on the setup.exe file &
install the software normally using the procedure given earlier in this document. There
will be no further changes in the procedure to install the Indraworks Software when the
OS is not compatible except the above given step.
