1. What is a community?

My definition of "community" is based on my interaction (communication) with everything in,

on, and around me. My community begins with me. I strive to be the best 'me' I can be and
spend my time on this planet learning and growing. Then I give back to the rest of my
community, which includes my family, babies, parents, people, animals, plants, buildings,
government, neighbors, neighborhood, schools, hobbies, work, the environment, and so on. I
suppose my definition of a community is broad.

2. What is development?

I believe it is the community's upgrading process. It promotes growth and progress in the
community. It is also sponsored by community development organizations that work with
various organizations and other residents in the living community.
3. What is community development?

I assume it is the empowerment of people who live in the same community, as well as the
empowerment of equality and equity. They create progress and a social environment to connect.
Community Development professionals work on a variety of issues, including advocacy,
education, and economic development within the community.

4. What is sustainable for the community?

In my opinion, Sustainable development is the practice of maintaining productivity by replacing

used resources with resources of equal or higher value without destroying or harming natural
ecological systems.

REFLECTION:

We are all aware that we live in various communities, each with its own set of problems,
needs, and desires to develop into a progressive community. I believe we should concentrate
more on the needs of the residents and on areas where we can improve. A community needs
assessment also identifies the community's strengths and resources for meeting needs. The
evaluation focuses on the capacities of the community, including residents, agencies, and
organizations. It creates a framework for developing and identifying services and solutions, as
well as communities that support and nurture children and families.
