2 Configurations
The configuration of the dashboard can now directly be made from the dashboard itself rather than on the
webdynpro configuration application. On the strategic view, click on Create New Instance button.
You can start creating the new instance by clicking on the “plus” button on the upper right range of the screen like
shown in the next figure:

After clicking on this button, a window will be displayed and ask you to enter the name and the id of the instance.
A green symbol will appear to confirm that this id is available, and an underscore is added before the id to
distinguish the instances created with the former version from those created with this dashboard version.
The user can also check the checkbox “Red flag” if he wants to see a red flag on the tile if the value of the metric is
not compliant to the defined range.
The “Current month” and “Last month” options are used to define the period of measurement.
When you finish configuring your instance you should click on the “create” button to save the modifications and to
create affectively a new instance.
The user should create a score, and this can be done by clicking on the “plus” button like shown in the figure
bellow:
Another window will be displayed and ask you to enter a score name and to fix the green to yellow and yellow to red
threshold’s values.

The user should select one or several KPI(s) from the catalog and click on “Add KPI(s) selected” button.

The following window will be displayed, this window allows you among others to add the selected KPI(s) to many
scores:

Then the user will need to save the configuration by clicking on the floppy-disk icon just behind the “plus” button in
the top of the main configuration page.
To this point the user still can’t have results since the data collection has not been executed yet, to speed-up the
process the user should click on the “trigger data collection” button. This message will appear to inform you that
the operation is running.

2.2 Instance editing
To edit the instance the user should click on the pencil icon like shown in the following figure.
By clicking on the edit button, the user will be redirected to the following configuration interface in which you can
Edit configured KPI(s) or add new ones you can also edit, delete and add scores, you can even edit metrics from
the metrics table and finally edit the instance.

2.2.2 Score deletion
The deletion of the score can be done by clicking on the following button:

You can add the metric to a group or even create your own group.
If you want to see the OCC query you need to click on the following button:

3 Dashboard
Once the configuration has been done, you can access the dashboard to see what you have configured. To access
the dashboard based on the view, please follow section 3.1.
• Select the instances you want to go to, and select button go to Dashboard.
Select two or more instances, a jump in button will be displayed, you can choose one of these options
o Open in new window
o Navigate in the same window
o Get links for the selected instances

This scenario shows the case when you open the instances in a new window:
You can switch between instance by clicking the title of the instance.

3.3.1 Header
o Choose Personalization to open the Personalization pane, in this pane figure the Global Settings
and instance settings sections:

This section contains the settings related to the selected instance.

o The first button indicates if the last execution of data collection has been successfully done (green) or
no.
o The second button opens and closes the month selection pane. You can select the month that you want
to display data for it.

o The Third and fourth buttons are stand for collapsing or expanding the current collection of tiles which
are shown in the content area.
o The last button allows the user to display the dashboard in full screen.

Inside each tile, the KPIs will be listed as entries of the tile. To navigate to the Metric Compliancy View, you need to
select an entry in the tile. To navigate to the Score History View or the Governance View, you need to click on the
buttons at the bottom of the tile. The Metric Compliancy View contains a line chart of metrics compliancy values.

While navigating down, the navigator will keep track of where you are, and where you were by navigating items.
The History view contains a combined chart of the history values of Scores and KPIs for the last 12 months.
• When you select an entry in the tile in the Governance View, you navigate to the Metric Compliancy View.

• On the Metric Compliancy View, when you click on a data point, you navigate to the Detail View.
• The Detail View contains a line chart of the detail of a selected metric during a month.
