1 Introduction

Uritest-50 urine analyzer is manufactured under strict supervision. This is a kind of precise analyzer,
improper operation or any damaged component may affect the results or make damage to the instrument.
If an operational or instrument problem occurs, an error number may display on the Analyzer screen. This
section of the manual lists various errors and messages, along with probable causes and recommended
remedies to quickly and easily correct the problem. If the problem persists after following the
recommended remedy, records the error number displayed and contact your local distributor or URIT
MEDICAL ELECTRONIC SALES CO., LTD.

NOTE: Be careful of the strong voltage inside.

3.1 Power is on with no response (Picture 1)
a) Check the voltage of TP6 (DC 12 0.4V).
b)Check whether the power adapter, power input plug, power switch, power input connector and
power input cable are normal, and replace the defective parts.

3.2 Abnormal display (Picture 2)

a) Check the voltage of TP1(DC-5.16 0.5V) ,when the Contrast has >>>> on the screen.
b) Adjust the potentiometer of contrast
c) Replace the Ic4051 or potentiometer

3.3 The results can not be printed out (Picture 2)

a)Check whether the printer cable is connected correctly.
b) Replace the printer.
c)Replace the chip (Lb1838).

3.4 Reagent strip detector is abnormal (Picture 3)

a)Check the voltage of 4 pin on the detector output connector
b) If reagent strip is on the holder, the voltage is more than 3.5V
c) If reagent strip is not on the holder, the voltage is less than 1.5V

3.5 Abnormal time display on the screen (Picture 5)

a) Replace the battery.
b)Check wether the crystal oscillator (32.768K) is normal and replace the defective one..
c) Replace the clock chip(ISL1208).

3.6 TROUBLE-01(Reference light (LED 1) is too strong) ¡¢TROUBLE-04(Reference light

(LED 1) is too weak) (Picture 4)

a) Adjust the LED 1 potentiometer to make sure the voltage of Tp3 is within the normal range (DC
3V~4.7V)
b) If the voltage is normal, while the same error persists, contact the distributor.

3.7 TROUBLE-02(Red light (LED 2) is too strong) ¡¢TROUBLE-05(Red light (LED2) is

a) Adjust the LED 2 potentiometer to make sure the voltage if Tp4 is within the normal range (DC
4.6V 0.1V)
b) If the voltage is normal, while the same error persists, contact the distributor.

3.8 TROUBLE-03(Green light (LED 3) is too strong) ¡¢TROUBLE-06(Green light (LED

a) Adjust the LED 3 potentiometer to make sure the voltage if Tp5 is within the normal range (DC
3.8V 0.1V)
b) If the voltage is normal, while the same error persists, contact the distributor.

3.9 TROUBLE-10(Motherboard problem) (picture 5)

a)Check wether the IC, MCU, RAM and CPLD are normal.
b)Replace the IC, MCU, RAM and CPLD
c) If the same error persists, contact the distributor.

3.10 TROUBLE-12 (picture 6)

a) Check whether the white block of the strip holder is clean.
b) When the white block of the strip holder is under the reflect electro-optical sensor the reagent strip
holder returns to the initial position , check whether the voltage of 3Pin of the detector output
connector is more than 1.5V.
c) If the same error persists, contact the distributor.
