ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
MATHEMATICS
School Year 2020-2021
Mathematics can be difficult subject for elementary schoolchildren to grasp. This subject
concept often makes it challenging to explain to young learners. To make this subject much easier
even in the midst of pandemic using the modular distance Learning, variety of teaching tools and
different interventions that helps make mathematical concepts more concrete and demonstrate to
pupils how they will use math in their everyday live.
The school aims to enhance and nurture the skills and knowledge of the students through the
undying effort of mathematics teachers to give quality education by giving some interventions.
One of this is the “PROJECT MATH-TITIBAY SA PAG-ASENSO” this was implemented last
February 23 to March 12,2021 intended for Grade II Pupils. The proponent of this intervention
Project was Mrs. Beth Catimbang, a Grade II teacher. It was covered the Second Quarter least learned
competencies. The recipients of this intervention are the parents of Grade 2 pupils whose grade in
Math last school year was below 80 %. Six speakers from different schools shared their talents and
skills on the different techniques and strategies on how they can teach their children the easiest way
possible. Activity sheets were given after the discussion of the every speaker to be answered by
pupils and submitted after a week.
Due to the pandemic, the second part of the implementation of “PROJECT MATH-TITIBAY SA
PAG-ASENSO” was conducted only in the morning of March 5, 2021 with three speakers discussing
three least learned competencies in the Third Quarter MELC. This intervention enhanced the
numeracy skills of the learners and developed positive attitudes towards Mathematics.

activity/ worksheet.
SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS ON THE ASSESSMENT NUMERACY & INTERVENTION IN MATHEMATICS FROM GRADES 1-3
I- Overview The Assessment Numeracy & Intervention in Mathematics from Grades 1-3 was
conducted to assess the numeracy learning of pupils and to give proper intervention/
remediation.
III- Analysis Based from the data gathered from the submitted grades of learners with 70-79
ratings in the 1st and 2nd quarter from grades 1-3, it showed that the conduct of
remediation/ intervention strategies decreased the number of slow / non -numerates
learners. The collaboration of teachers, parents/guardians, and pupils for the
intervention/ remediation is very much effective.
Here is the overall Assessment in Grades IV- VI, and was Consolidated by Mrs. Fe C.
Collantes ,Master Teacher 1 in charge in Intermediate Grade Mathematics.
