Basics of Excel Formulas

1) The SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, MIN, and AVERAGE with SUM & COUNT formulas are introduced to calculate various metrics from numeric data in Excel. 2) The SUM formula uses "+" or the SUM function to add values. The AVERAGE formula uses the AVERAGE function. COUNT counts numeric values and COUNTA counts all cells including blanks. 3) MAX and MIN find the maximum and minimum values. AVERAGE can also be calculated by summing values and dividing by the COUNT.
