Introduction:
My professional career began in 2003 when I enlisted the US Army where I was trained in
administrative support. I honorably separated in August 2011 and continued with the Army as a
civilian GS employee until my husband was reassigned to South Korea in June 2016. His work will
relocate him to Camp Humphreys during the summer of 2019. I am interested in returning to civil
service upon our arrival in Pyeongtaek.

Beginning February 2014, I was detailed to Public Health Command Region-Europe’s Occupational
Health Sciences Portfolio Industrial Hygiene Division In addition to my regular duties with [EHE]. In
June 2015 I was promoted to an IH Technician full time. During this time, I assisted in establishing a
system for tracking calibration and service of over 850 pieces of equipment. I was instrumental in
establishing the base structure for the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness
System - Industrial Hygiene (DOEHRS-IH) database for fifteen separate IH field offices located in
Italy, Belgium, and Germany. I reviewed existing accountability documents, coordinated asset
placement with program offices, and reconciled numerous records and data sources in order to
ensure system accuracy. Work in the DOEHRS-IH database included creating shop records,

processes, personnel data, master schedule tasks, Similar Exposure Groups (SEGs), and exposure
sampling tasks. Additionally, I reviewed and corrected records for existing vendors, created
personnel records for shops, and added new locations. I extracted data from historical written
reports in order to enter previously empty information in records, such as name, UIC, location,
surveillance monitoring results, stressors, and operations. I updated the master schedule and
individual shop priority codes including close-out dates for surveyed shops, and input new surveys
or assessments into the database. I am trained in conducting IH workplace surveys and sampling to
identify and evaluate potential health hazards at local installations. In addition, I assisted
Environmental Health Engineering Portfolio Project Officers by generating DOEHRS-EH identification
numbers for environmental samples collected from Army garrisons across Europe.

time from receipt of notification through the various stages of processing until completion of the
Clinical Evaluation Process and forwarding to the PEBLO. Coordinate closely with the PEBLO and
