Statement of the Problem

This study aims to determine the teacher’s competence in the

utilization of Online-Teaching platforms in Elementary Schools in the Division

of Caloocan. Specifically, it seeks to answer the following problems:

1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of:

1.1. age;

1.2. gender;

1.3. length of service; and

1.4. position based on plantilla/rank in file?

2. What is the level of teaching competencies in terms of the following as

assessed by the Master Teacher and Teacher-respondents?

2.1. Attainment of Learning Competency;

2.2. Accomplishment of Written Works;

2.3. Execution of Performance Task; and

2.4. Providing Assessment

3. What are the online platforms used by the two groups of respondents?

4. Is there a significant difference in the assessment of the two-groups of

respondents in the level of teaching competencies when group according to

their profile?

5. Is there a significant relationship between the level of teaching

competencies and the online platforms used by the two-groups of

respondents?

6. What are the challenges encountered by the respondents in the utilization

of Online-Teaching platforms?

7. Based on the findings of the study, what faculty enhancement program

maybe proposed?

Hypotheses

The null hypotheses of this study will be tested by 5% level of

significance.

1. There is no significant difference in the assessment of the two-groups of

respondents in the level of teaching competencies when group according to

their profile.

2. There is no significant relationship between the level of teaching

competencies and the online platforms used by the two-groups of

respondents.

child abuse law in Elementary Schools in the Division of Caloocan.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following problems:

1.3. civil status;

1.5. teaching position; and

1.6. number of seminars/ trainings attended?

2. What is the extent of implementation of the teacher-respondents on the

Child-Abuse Law in school in terms of:

2.1. advocacy awareness;

2.2. policy contextualization; and

2.3. implementation?

6. What professional development program maybe proposed based on

the findings of the study?

1.5. teaching position?

2. What is the status of blended learning approach of the teachers in terms of

2.1. assessment task;

6. What are the challenges encountered by the teacher-respondents in

conducting blended learning approach?

7. What faculty enhancement program may be proposed based on the

findings of the study?
