HERE (AQUÍ) (CERCA): THERE (ALLÌ o ALLÁ) (LEJOS):

“This” en singular “That” en singular
“These” en plural “Those” en plural

EJEMPLOS
Those are Maria’s books But (pero):that is Briss’ umbrella
This is Maria’s book those are the students’ books
That is Mario’s cellphone that is my family’s house

CONJUGACIONES
PRON. PRES. PAS.
I AM WAS
YOU ARE WERE
HE IS WAS
SHE IS WAS
IT IS WAS
WE ARE WERE
YOU ARE WERE
THEY ARE WERE

Let’s learn about……

PRONOMBRES AUXILIAR

LA ESTRUCTURA DEL VERB TO BE EN PRESENTE Y PASADO ES LA

MISMA, Y ES:
STRUCTURE:
A) “DO” (SUJETOS I, YOU, WE, THEY):
SUBJ. + VERB + COMP
EJEMPLOS.
I go to school everyday (yo voy al colegio cada día)
You learn english every night (tú aprendes ingles cada noche)
We love the class (nosotros amamos la clase)
They play soccer (Ellos juegan soccer)
B) “Does” (Sujetos He, She, it) (3rd person)
SUBJ.
1. SE AÑADE “S” A LA MAYORÍA DE VERBOS.
EJEMPLOS: CLEAN-CLEANS (LIMPIAR)
THINK-THINKS (PENSAR)
BELIEVE- BELIEVES (CREER)
2. SE AÑADE “ES” SI EL VERBO TERMINA EN “X-O-Z-H”.
EJEMPLOS: FIX-FIXES (ARREGLAR)
GO- GOES (IR)
FIZZ-FIZZES (BURBUJEAR)
BRUSH-BRUSHES (CEPILLAR)
CATCH-CATCHES (AGARRAR)

VOCAL.
EJEMPLOS: PLAY – PLAYS (JUGAR)
STAY - STAYS (QUEDARSE)
SAY – SAYS (DECIR)
4. CUANDO EL VERBO TERMINA EN “Y” Y ANTES TIENE UNA CONSONANTE
SE SUSTITUYE LA “Y” POR “IES”
EJEMPLOS: CRY - CRIES (LLORAR)
TRY – TRIES (INTENTAR)
FLY - FLIES (VOLAR)
NO TE OLVIDES QUE ESTO DE AÑADIR “S-ES-IES” AL FINAL DE LOS
VERBOS SOLO SE APLICA EN LA AFIRMACION DEL PRESENTE
SIMPLE PARA TERCERAS PERSONAS
Ejemplos de afirmaciones 3ras personas:
SHE GOES TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY (ella va al colegio cada día)
He cries everynight( él llora cada noche)
He cleans the house everyday (el limpia la casa cada día)
It barks every monday(eso ladra cada lunes)

PREGUNTAS:

+ VERB + COMP

DO THEY GO TO SCHOOL? DOES SHE GO TO SCHOOL?
ELLOS VAN AL COLEGIO? ELLA VA AL COLEGIO?
DO YOU PLAY SOCCER? DOES HE PLAY SCHOOL?
TÚ JUEGAS SOCCER? ÉL JUGA FÚTBOL

Let’s learn about Question Words.

EXISTEN 4 GRUPOS, CON SUS PROPIAS ESTRUCTURAS.

1. POR LO GENERAL UTILIZADA CON “WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY, HOW,
HOW MUCH, WHICH)
QW + TO BE CONJ. + S + C

QW + AUX + S + V + C
EN CUALQUIER CASO, SI UNO ESTÁ SEGURO DE QUE NO EXISTE
ALGUNA PARTE DE LA ESTRUCTURA, ESTA SE PUEDE SALTAR.
VEREMOS EJEMPLOS CON CADA UNO:
TO BE OTHER VERBS
WHAT IS “WALLET” ? WHAT DO YOU THINK OF IT?
QUÉ ES “WALLET”? QUÉ PIENSAS DE ESO?
WHEN IS THE PARTY? WHEN DO YOU STUDY?
CUANDO ES LA FIESTA? CUANDO ESTUDIAS ? (TÚ)
WHERE IS THE PARTY? WHERE DOES HE GO?
DONDE ES LA FIESTA? DONDE VA? (ÉL)
WHY IS SHE LIKE THAT? WHY DO THEY PLAY SOCCER?
POR QUÉ ES ASÍ? (ELLA) POR QUÉ JUEGAN SOCCER?
HOW ARE YOU? HOW DO YOU GO TO WORK?
CÓMO ESTÁS? CÓMO VAS AL TRABAJO?
HOW TALL IS HE? HOW GOOD DO YOU FEEL?
CUÁN ALTO ES ÉL? CUÁN BIEN TE SIENTES?
HOW MUCH IS IT? HOW MUCH DO YOU PAY FOR IT?
CUÁNTO CUESTA? CUANTO PAGAS POR ESO?
WHICH IS YOUR JACKET? WHICH DO YOU TAKE?(MINIBUS)
CUÁL ES TU CHAQUETA? CUÁL TOMAS?(TÚ) (MINIBUS)

2. CON “WHOSE, WHAT+SOMEHTING, WHICH+SOMETHING, WHAT

KIND OF, HOW MUCH+S, HOW MANY+S”
QW + OBJETO + ¿?
EN LA PARTE DENOMINADA “¿?” DEBE ENTRAR UNA PREGUNTA, YA SEA CON TO BE Ó
CON OTRA ESTRUCTURA.
EXAMPLES:
WHOSE HOUSE IS THAT ? WHAT BOOK IS YOUR BOOK?
DE QUIÉN ES AQUELLA CASA? CUAL (LIBRO) ES TU LIBRO?

EJEMPLOS:
WHICH BUS DO YOU TAKE? WHAT KIND OF BOOK DO YOU WANT?
CUÁL BUS TOMAS? QUÉ TIPO DE LIBRO QUIERES? (TÚ)
HOW MUCH COFFEE DOES SHE WANT? HOW MANY BOOKS DO YOU SELL?
CUANTO DE CAFÉ QUIERE ELLA? CUANTOS LIBROS VENDES?

3. WHO SUJETO.

WHO + COMP

UTILIZAREMOS ESTA ORACION PARA EXPLICAR EL WHO SUJETO:

MARTIN GOES TO SCHOOL WITH PACO

el WHO SUJETO.
obviamente.
La pregunta sería:

WHO GOES TO SCHOOL WITH PACO?

WHO + ¿?
UTILIZAREMOS LA MISMA ORACION PARA EXPLICAR EL
WHO PREDICADO:

MARTIN GOES TO SCHOOL WITH PACO

WHO DOES MARTIN GO TO SCHOOL WITH?

LAS PREPOSICIONES SIEMPRE VAN AL FINAL DE LOS QW.
