QUESTION

A. REPLACEMENT POLICY

Given the reference string of the page:

How many page faults occurred for the following page replacement algorithm with
four frames? Remember that all initialized frames are empty, so that each first unique
page will be valued at one fault each. Do it using the algorithm:
a. Firs in First Out (FIFO)
b. Optimal
c. Least Recently Used (LRU)
d. Clock Policy 1 bit

B. PAPER

1. Make literature review of papers that discusses the topic of Operating System or
Operating System Trends
2. Literatir Review of Papers made must follow the following systematics:
a) Introduction (background, problem formulation, objectives and problem
limits)
b) Method
c) Analysis and Discussion
d) Conclusion
e) References; references used in the literature review are at least 2 pieces from
credible national or international journals
3. Reports are sent in pdf or word file, if there is an attachment then the report will be
uploaded in zip format
4. Resut Literature Review of Papers are done in groups of a maximum of 2 people
