Nineteenth Edition
This report comprises fish & shell fish catch (landed) by sectors,
habitat, species and district-wise. Information on the carp spawn
collected from natural sources & spawn produced through induced
breeding in hatcheries for aqua-culture; fish & fish products and
other related matters are also presented in the report. The catch
is estimated on the basis of frame survey of water bodies &
fishing units conducted during 1981-1983.

3. Total catch of the marine fisheries were estimated by the Marine , Department of Fisheries.
