NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CONDUCT OF SLAC ABOUT THE DIFFERENT TEACHING


STRATEGIES/APPROACHES

As teacher, there is a need to recall about the different teaching strategies and approaches in order
for the teachers to know more about these strategies and approaches and how it is implemented in during
teaching. In order for the teachers to recall these things, Hinogacan Elementary School conducted a SLAC
about this topic.

In the month of October, on the 6th day in the year 2017, Hinogacan Elementary School conducted
a SLAC about the different teaching strategies and approaches. It was conducted at Hinogacan Elementary
School in the office of the school head. There are ten teachers who are present and the topic focuses on the
different teaching strategies and approaches and how it is to be apply during the teaching and learning
process. There are lots of strategies that were discussed. The teachers were also sharing their ideas about
the topic.

The conduct of this topic was done successfully and the teachers really listened and the objective
were attained. Even if there are lots of strategies that were discussed, still teachers must remember that
there is no best one strategy, because it depends upon the situation in the classroom when using a particular
strategy.

NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CONDUCT OF SLAC ABOUT FILLING OUT THE DLL
TEMPLATE

DLL template is used by the teachers in making a plan for their lessons every day. As part of their
plan, it is also important for them to know more about how it is fill out. In order for the teachers to how it
is filled out, Diaz Elementary School conducted a SLAC about the filling out the DLL template.

Hinogacan Elementary School teachers together with the school head joined to Diaz Elementary
School during their conduct of the SLAC about filling out the DLL template on October 26, 2017. The one
who discussed about the topic is Ma. Celina C. Obong, the teacher of Diaz Elementary School and she
pointed that in the reflection it is not important to fill out everyday if the lesson is not yet done during the
first day. Moreover, she also discussed the important parts of DLL template and how it is filled out. She
highlighted the important things to remember in filling out the template. As the speaker finished his topic,
the school heads of different schools who are present facilitate on the giving of certificate to the discussant.

The conduct of the SLAC was successfully done and most of the teachers really gained some
important points about filling out the DLL template and it is a part of their profession to continue learning
while they are teaching.
