Legal Protection Contract


This Legal Protection Contract (“Contract”) is entered into by and between MyTransit Auxiliary Police,
hereinafter known as the “Disclosing Party”, and the undersigned receiving party the “Receiving Party”, and
collectively both parties known as “Parties”.

Overview
The MyTransit Auxiliary Police (“MYTAP”) intends to instill legal protection for Auxiliary Police Officers
(“Clients”) by preventing Clients from expediting MYTAP for a direct-entry into Polis Di-Raja Malaysia
(“PDRM”) upon graduation from the Royal Malaysian Police College.

Compensation Agreement
Should the contract be breached, the Disclosing Party may request for monetary compensation, a
dishonourable discharge of Client from Auxiliary Police, issue disciplinary action within Auxiliary Police
and/or perform a civil lawsuit against the Client.

Confidentiality
This Contract is protected by the Official Secrets Act 2019.

Interpretation
1. In this Contract, unless the context otherwise—
“MyTransit”, “MYT”, “tKL”, means MyTransit state-owned transportation company under MYS;

“MyTransit Auxiliary Police”, “Auxiliary Police”, “MYTAP” means MyTransit Auxiliary Police;

“Officer” means a MyTransit Auxiliary Police Officer;

“Client”, “Auxiliary Police Client” or “Trainee” means the signer of the document or the to-be Officer
of MYTAP;

“Leave of Absence”, “LOA”, means having a leave of absence that is approved by the MyTransit
Leadership Team;

“COO”, “CEO” means Chief Operations Officer and Chief Executive Officer respectively who are the
employers of MYTAP

Application
1. This contract applies to all Officers upon graduation from the Royal Malaysian Police College
(“RMPC”) AND after being signed by Client.

2. Upon graduation from the RMPC and signing, the Client will become a full-fledged Officer.

Period and Termination


1. The Client is to remain as an Officer 90 days from their operational ready date unless:

(a) The Client had been dishonorably discharged from MYTAP;

(b) The Client is excused from remaining for 90 days by an ⅔ majority vote within the Board of
Directors of MyTransit;

(c) The Client has a secondment to another police organisation within the jurisdiction of Malaysia
and Borneo that is approved by the Superintendent of Auxiliary Police, the current CEO and
COO of MyTransit;

2. Should the Client file a LOA on the period that the Client has requested will not count to the 90 days
of being a Auxiliary Police employee. The Client will remain as an Auxiliary Police employee during
the Leave of Absence.

Joining a Police Force or Military Force within a period of 150 days


1. The Client. after signing, is to not be enlisted into the Royal Malaysian Police (MYS), Malaysian
Armed Forces (MYS) or any other police force and military force within the jurisdiction of Malaysia
and Borneo for 150 days unless:

(d) The Client is excused from not being enlisted into any police force and military force within the
jurisdiction of Malaysia and Borneo by an ⅔ majority vote within the Board of Directors of
MyTransit;

(e) The Client has a secondment to another police force within the jurisdiction of Malaysia and
Borneo that is approved by the Superintendent of Auxiliary Police and the current CEO of
MyTransit;

(f) The Client has been requested to be enlisted into the Malaysian Armed Forces or Royal
Malaysian Police by the federal government, Yang Di Pertuan Agong and/or the Council of
Eminent Persons;
