    Who doesn't know Australia? As one of the largest islands and the smallest continent in the world,
    Australia is one of the tourist attraction that has unique characteristics. Starting from its vast territory,
    strange creatures living in it, the longest toll road in the world, until its unique nature that might not be
    found in every country other than in this kangaroo country.

    Before you visit Australia, it's better for you to find out which attractions are interested so that your
    insight and knowledge will increase if you visit this country. Here, the 5 most popular tourist attraction
    that you must visit when you visit in Australia.

    1.Sydney Opera House

    Sydney Opera House is one of the most famous landmarks in Australia. This historic building seems
    to be a must-visit location if you visit Australia. Its unique shape and high historical value are the
    reasons why you should visit this place. The Sydney Opera House has been regarded as one of the
    best works of 20th-century architecture built by architect Jorn Utzon. Every year, 3000 performances
    are held at the Sydney Opera House where there are 1,000 rooms with the largest space capacity is
    the Concert Hall which consists of 2,679 seats, and the smallest Utzon Room which can
    accommodate 210 people.

    2.Sydney Tower

    The next tourist spot in Australia is Sydney Tower. Sydney Tower is a tourist attraction where tourists
    can see the Sydney scenery. The height of this tower is about 309 meters and become the tallest
    tower in the City of Sydney. Sydney Tower was built starting in 1974 and only finished 6 years later.
    There are 1,504 stairs to get to the top of the tower, where visitors can climb through the stairs every
    year during the Sydney Tower Stair Challenge. To be able to see the City of Sydney through Sydney
    Tower, visitors are required to buy tickets first. Sydney Tower tickets are priced at 26.50 AUD (Rp.
    270,000) to buy on the spot and 18.55 AUD (around Rp. 180,000) to buy online. For children it is
    slightly cheaper, 17 AUD to buy on the spot and 11.20 AUD to buy online.

    3.Bondi Beach

    The third tourism place that must be visited when you visit to Australia is Bondi Beach. Bondi Beach is
    one of the favorite places to be a tourist attraction because it has been famous throughout the world
    because of the beaches. Bondi Beach is also often used as a place for local or international events or
    festivals, such as a running race until the Christmas celebration. If you visit Sydney, don't miss to visit
    Bondi Beach. You only need 30 minutes if you take public transportation from the city center.

    4.Sovereign Hill, Ballarat

    Sovereign Hill is the tourist attractions in Australia, precisely in Melbourne, that is used as gold
    producers in Australia in the mid-1800s. In this place, tourists can also take lessons in school by
    writing using a pen dipped in ink. Besides, looking at the ancient steam engine at the tourist site, even
    though it was old-fashioned the steam engine could run perfectly. On the other hand, tourists can pan
    gold on the river, play bowling in ancient times and see camps made by Chinese immigrants.

    5.Ayers Rock

    Ayers Rock is one of the largest monoliths in the world and has become one of the best tourist
    attractions in Australia. Ayers Rock is located within the Tjuta National Park Northern Territory Uluru-
    Kata. The height of Ayers Rock is more than 340 meters. One of the uniqueness of this stone is there
    will be dramatic color changes at sunset from terra cotta to blue, purple and red. The local Aboriginal
    tribe known as Anangu, called it the Uluru stone and considered it as a holy place. Since the park has
    been listed as a World Heritage Site, the number of annual visitors has risen to more than 400,000
    visitors in 2000.
