EMPLOYEE REFERRAL INCENTIVE POLICY

University of Petroleum & Energy Studies

1.0 Objective

- To accelerate the recruitment of personnel


- To enable to acquire stable and satisfied work-force
- To motivate existing satisfied UPES family members to put their efforts to support the
organizational priorities.

2.0 Eligibility

All UPES family members (including employees on roll of HERS/ISP/any other group company
working solely for UPES) are eligible for the reward except following:
- Members of Management Committee, Corporate Resources
- PVC, Centre Director, Dean
- HR Personnel

3.0 Recruitment Referral for UPES Employees

The amount of rewards is as follows:

For Positions Amount

Professor and above, and equivalent non-faculty Rs 10,000/- per person


positions

Associate Prof, Assistant Prof (Selection Grade), and Rs 7,500/- per person
equivalent non-faculty positions

Assistant Prof (Senior Scale), Assistant Prof, Lecturer, Rs 5,000/- per person
Adjunct Associate and equivalent non-faculty positions

4.0 General Guidelines
4.1 Candidature can be referred by any member of the UPES family to the HR Department.
4.2 The record of such referral will be maintained in HR Department.
4.3 The UPES family member will become eligible for reward if the candidate(s) referred by
him/her are:
- Found suitable
- Accept the position offered and join UPES either on regular basis or on contract
of not less than one year
4.4 Such rewards will be approved by the Chancellor on completion of at least six months of
service by the candidates appointed through referral.
