The types are defined by four categories: Extraversion (E) vs Introversion (I), Sensing (S) vs Intuition (N), Thinking (T) vs Feeling (F), Judging (J) vs Perceiving (P). ISTJ
The Inspector

ISTJs are loyal and sensible; they are the


people that get things done. As the
upholders of rules and standards, they are
steady influences within a team. They prefer
using structured, tried-and-true approaches
to solve problems.
ISFJ
The Protector

ISFJs are responsible, and care deeply about


others’ feelings. They are attuned to the
immediate, practical needs of people around
them and are always trying their best to meet
those needs. They are often the do-gooders in
a community.
INFJ
The Advocate and Counselor
INFJs have a unique combination of
humanitarian visions and pragmatic
sensibilities. They have a knack for reading
people and always hope to devote their lives
to a meaningful cause. Constantly organizing
complex insights within their strong value
systems, they are independent yet caring.
INTJ
The Administrator

INTJs are logical, systematic thinkers who are


often fifty steps ahead of others. The breadth
and depth of their store of knowledge are
shocking, and they are happiest when they
make use of it to come up with novel solutions
to complex problems.
ISTP
The Crafter

ISTPs are independent, pragmatic, and


spontaneous. While they may seem aloof at
times, they are acute observers of how and
why things work. They are unfazed in a crisis
and can react very quickly with no preparation
when circumstances call for it.
ISFP
The Composer

ISFPs are introspective creatives who live in


the here and now. In tune with their senses,
they enjoy hands-on activities that serve as
outlets for their artistic gifts. They are reliable,
enthusiastic friends that value trust in the
relationship.
INFP
The Healer

INFPs are quiet, sensitive peacekeepers. They


are curious and unconventional thinkers who
enjoy relating ideas to their insights about
people. While they need more alone time than
any other type, they are the supportive friends
that everyone loves having.
INTP
The Architect
INTPs are curious, intellectual, and logical.
They spend all day thinking about ideas and
asking sharp questions that nobody else has
thought of. Their analytical capabilities,
coupled with their innate desire to understand
how the world works, make them extremely
creative thinkers
ESTP
The Salesperson

ESTPs are free spirits who are on the constant


lookout for the next adventure. They always
prefer jumping in with both feet to thinking
things through. Always on the move, they
never neglect fun and are always exciting to
be around.
ESFP
The Producer

ESFPs are the ultimate entertainers, always


making sure everyone is having a good time.
They embrace the spotlight and thrive on
being the center of attention. Their infectious
optimism makes them terrific participants in
group initiatives.
ENFP
The Politician

ENFPs see endless possibilities, and their


enthusiasm for new ideas is compelling. They
often use their incredible people skills to rally
and inspire others. They do best when they
are able to commit their ideas to the right
projects without feeling stifled.
ENTP
The Inventor
ENTPs come up with ingenious, innovative
ideas like no one else does. Rational yet
curious and open-minded, they love a good
cerebral discussion and never shy away from
being the devil’s advocate. They are quick-
witted and prefer new challenges to any kind
of routine.
ESTJ
The Supervisor

ESTJs are hardworking and pragmatic, living


the motto “a place for everything and
everything in its place.” Natural at working
within existing structures and processes, they
are often responsible for leading action- or
detailed-focused initiatives.
ESFJ
The Clergy
ESFJs are loyal, personable doers. Harmony is
at the forefront of their minds, and they never
hesitate to take on the responsibility of
maintaining it. They feel comfortable with
following established practices and
processes, as long as everyone is being taken
care of.
ENFJ
The Teacher

ENFJs are most concerned with helping


others, and are capable of connecting with
anyone and everyone. Warm and harmonious,
they are empathetic leaders who both drive
and support their teams as they all work
toward the intended goal.
ENTJ
The Commander

ENTJs are born to lead. They are at their best


when they are marshaling teams in order to
achieve huge goals. They can be blunt in their
delivery, but this is a method of efficiency for
them. They are never afraid to buck the
mainstream to get to where they want to be.
