Introduction and Overview
Student achievement is at the heart of what we do in ----------. It is our belief that student learning
and achievement can be enhanced through the use of computer technologies.
This plan outlines our vision for technology integration at all levels, our core beliefs, and our mission for
creating and building an effective and efficient networked learning environment.
It is our intention to create a working document that will be changed and adjusted based upon changes
in both the educational accountability system and new, innovative technologies which become
available.
Vision and Mission Statements
Vision Statement: The vision of this plan is to bring horse training into the 21st Century.
Mission Statement Our mission statement is to enact technology to help student outcomes.
Main Learning Goals of Plan
● Goal 1: Learning
All students will have engaging and empowering learning experiences in both formal and
informal settings that prepare them to be active, creative, knowledgeable, and ethical
participants in our globally connected society.
● Goal 2: Teaching
Educators will be supported by technology that connects them to people, data, content,
resources, expertise, and learning experiences that can empower and inspire them to provide
more effective teaching for all students.
● Goal 3: Leadership
Embed an understanding of technology-enabled education within the roles and responsibilities
of education leaders at all levels and set state, regional, and local visions for technology in
learning.
● Goal 4: Assessment
At all levels, our education system will leverage the power of technology to measure what
matters and use assessment data to improve learning.
● Goal 5: Infrastructure
All students and educators will have access to a robust and comprehensive infrastructure when
and where they need it for learning.
