WM Transfer Batch Does Not Exist

User Support Ticket:

Is it possible to add manually an empty batch to one material? 

I am a WM user and would like to post a material to material transfer using the
same batch number of the original material. 

In WM, I used the tcode LT10 and LQ02, but when I put the destination
material and the destination batch (to the source material batch) there is an
error message: "batch does not exist!". 

How to solve this issue?

This is a common error during transfer both in the SAP MM and WM Module.

During WM transfer, system will check whether the batch no. already exist in the
destination material.

You have to create the Batch first (t-code: MSC1N) with relation to the new Material /
Plant / Storage Location.
