Things to know:
• Wi-Fi is a standard feature on TouchXL (TM757) and Touch (TM756) consoles which
means each console comes with Wi-Fi boards installed.
• Without connecting the console to a wireless or wired network, the following features will
not be able to function. Deactivating Asset Management will disable Wi-Fi.
o Automatic software updates
o Asset Management reporting
o RFID login (touchless login for xID)
o Workout Tracking features
• The default wireless network (SSID) and network password is as show below. It is
strongly recommended that Matrix customers set up a dedicated Wi-Fi network in their
facility to match the default network. If this is not possible, each console’s Wi-Fi board
will need to have a new configuration file uploaded. See the Wi-Fi Setup Instruction
document for further detail.
o SSID = MXWireless
o Key (password) = FuWxzbbocfOt
o Security = WPA2-PSK
• Network speed requirements for either console is
o 3Mbps Standard streaming, 5Mbps HD streaming
IMPORTANT: EVERY console must have steps 1-12 performed. Once complete, perform step 13
on a single console. Step 14 will walk you through exporting step 13 to the other consoles on the
same network.
