LESSON PLAN IN HEALTH GRADE VI

Objective: At the end of the lesson, the pupils will be able to practice waste management at
home, in school, and in community (H5CMH –Iih-8)

Subject Matter: Proper Waste Management


Materials: Pictures, Video, PowerPoint presentation

Procedure:
A. Pre-Activities
1. Review: Can you recall our lesson yesterday? What are the five common
health appraisal that a person must undergo?

2. Word Drill - sewage, segregation, biodegradable,


non – biodegradable, recyclable, hazardous

3. Motivation – Video Presentation


In your lesson in Science you have discussed the 5Rs as shown in the
video. What are the ways of disposing our garbage or waste materials?
