    JANUARY 5, 2020 AT TWO O’CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON AT THE BARANGAY SESSION
    HALL.

    MINUTES OF THE SESSION

    A. CALL TO ORDER:

    The meeting was called to order by Punong Barangay Hon. Clemence D. Pobre, at
    2:00 in the afternoon who presided over the meeting.

    B. ROLL CALL:

    The presiding officer asked the barangay secretary to call the roll. Thereafter, a
    quorum was declared.

    C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS SESSION:

    The secretary read the previous minutes of meeting, after which the body has
    approved the minutes of the last session. The Punong Barangay proceeded with his
    greetings.

    D. AGENDA
     TAX ORDINANCE
     UPDATE ON BARANGAY ANNUAL BUDGET
     CLEAN AND GREEN PROGRAM
     BARANGAY FIESTA
     OTHER MATTERS

    PB Clemence D. Pobre, started the meeting with the discussion on Barangay


    Tax Ordinance. It was laid on the table the revisions on Section 16 of Article B on
    Fees on recreational and amusement places which Charge admission fees. The
    Secretary was tasked to revise the said part of the Tax Ordinance and furnish
    copies to offices concerned. Imposing of fees will take place on the June 2020.

    PB C. D. Pobre asked the secretariat regarding the Annual Budget. The


    Secretary replied that it is already being drafted. The program of works of the
    development projects which is supposedly computed by the staff of the MPDC is
    yet to be submitted on the next working day.
    Kag. D. P. Macalma, Chairman on Clean and Green, scheduled Oplan Dalus on
    January 11, 2020 ( Saturday). The activity will start in the east part of the
    barangay.

    Next topic laid on the table is the Barangay Fiesta. It was agreed by the
    majority of the members of the council to have a simple festival (Fiesta sa
    Nayon). The activities will be 1. Parade in honor of St. Blaise, 2. Liturgical Mass,
    3. Fiesta Games, and 4. Dinner and Ball. To raise funds for the expenses of the
    barangay fiesta, the body agreed to solicit from friends and relatives. Strictly no
    solicitation on business establishment since that they are reserved for the Guling
    Guling Festival. Barangay fiesta will be on February 3, 2020.

    E. OTHER MATTER

    PB C. D. Pobre announced that the Municipality is going to celebrate the


    annual Guling Guling Festival on February 25, 2020. There will be street dance
    competition and showdown competition. More details of the celebration will be
    discussed on next meeting. She said that the Municipal Tourism Council will
    conduct a meeting and will discuss the criteria of the competitions.

    F. ADJOURNMENT

    Having no other matters to discuss, on motion of Kag. N. C. Baguindoc,


    duly seconded by majority of the Council, the meeting was adjourned at five
    o`clock in the afternoon.
