GUIDELINES FOR DEAN’S LIST APPLICATION, INCLUSION AND DISCOUNT

Effective A.Y. 2021-2022

DEAN’S LIST APPLICATION


Application for inclusion in the Dean’s List is processed once a year at the beginning of the first
semester or upon announcement by the respective course coordinators.
1. A first-time applicant must carry a regular load and have at least one year residence in the College
Department. (The GPA of each semester should be at least 1.75 with no grades lower than 2.0).
2. The student applicant should fill out an online Google form. The link will be given during the online
orientation at the beginning of the first semester. Schedule will be announced accordingly.
3. The student applicant must be officially recommended by the course coordinator, endorsed to the Dean
of Colleges and for approval by the Registrar.

DEAN’S LIST INCLUSION


The Dean’s List is posted per semester. The official list is submitted to the administration and approved
by the dean and the administrator.
1. For those who wish to continue their inclusion in the Dean’s List, a separate Google form (link: WIP)
should be filled out as soon as the grades for the semester are available on GRADO.
2. The student must carry a regular load (or at least 18 units)
3. Maintain a GPA of 1.75 with no grades lower than 2.0

DEAN’S LIST DISCOUNT


As part of its commitment to the youth of the community to provide access to quality education to
everyone regardless of social and economic standing, the College Department of the Calauag Central College
awards academic scholarships to deserving students.
Upperclassmen who have at least one year residence in the College Department (2nd year, 3rd year and
incoming 4th year students) who have distinguished themselves academically in the preceding semester of the
College Department manifested by their inclusion in the Dean’s List will qualify for the said discount.
1. A student may enjoy a single scholarship grant only.
2. A scholarship grant is applicable only in a regular term (summer term not included)
3. A student must carry a regular load (or at least 18 units)
4. Maintain a GPA of 1.75 with no grades lower than 2.0
5. Not have committed any offense or violation against the school policies
6. The student nominee must be officially recommended by the course coordinator, endorsed to the Dean
of Colleges and for approval by the Registrar.
7. The official list of the nominees will be submitted to the administration and will be approved and
deliberated by the Registrar.
8. Only three (3) nominees per course will be chosen for the scholarship grant.
