I would like to share some (basic+advance) stuff that I have gathered over the past years.

I kindly
request you to please share this content with those pursuing the computational fluid dynamics course
so that it might imbibe some more interest and inclination towards cfd.

Interested to enter into the industry: Must be proficient with the software Ansys Fluent, Star CCM+.
Proficient in coding languages C++, Python, MATLAB.

Some videos where this is taught in weeks and for free. https://www.learncax.com/courses.html this
has all the tutorial videos for Star CCM+, Fluent etc.

Simscale is also a cool cloud-based platform and it is powerful as the GUI: Graphical User Interface is
built on OpenFOAM. https://www.simscale-academy.com/

To learn Ansys Fluent you can also start with, https://www.edx.org/course/a-hands-on-introduction-to-

engineering-simulations this course a basic introduction. Then move on to
https://confluence.cornell.edu/display/SIMULATION/Home. To explore more of the software.

Interested to enter into academia/research:

Must be proficient in Ansys Fluent, OpenFOAM. Proficient in coding languages like C++, MATLAB,
Python. Post-processing software like Paraview, Tecplot.

To get interested in coding first and foremost you can go through this course https://online-
