evening hours. The eligibility for admission is given below:
Eligibility:
T h e minimun qualification for appearing in the Entrance Test will be igher
Secondary ( +2 ) or courses which are equivalent.
The course is open to the Under Graduate and Post Graduate students ol tne
university, afliliated colleges and members of the staff of the university. Further, the
students with the special permission of the college faculty admission committees,
students deputed by the Government, public bodies, industrial concerns or wh0 are
recommended by the Professors and Head of the Departments in the university are
also eligible for appearing in the Entrance Test provided they meet the minimurn
ualification for appearing in the test. Foreign students may also join the course with
the special permission of the admission committee of. the college faculty
department concerned. However, persons who have/had offered Statistics as one of
the full term course either at UG or PG level of their study are not eligible to apply for
the course.

Note: The date for Entrance Test (if applicable) for admission to the said course will be
declare later on.
The Entrance Test of one hour duration with maximum marks 270, comprising of 90
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) out of which 30 questions will be on General
Knowledge. 30 questions on Mental Ability and 30 questions on Elementary
Mathematics of High School Level. 3 marks will be assigned to each correct answer and
l mark will be deducted to each incorrect an swer.
