_______However, maybe he pushed us too hard because right before the game, two of my friends started to
feel dizzy. The team doctor explained that they had felt sick because of all of the adrenaline. He gave them

me that day. Everything has happened very fast and I’ve already played the first game of the season. We won.

*Ahora estamos pasando por una situación enorme, una pandemia. El covid-19 ha dañado nuestro
sistema respiratorio, se puede contagiar
a través del aire, al escupir, estornudar o toser indirecta o directamente con alguien, por lo tanto,
también es una situación ambiental.

PROJECT

Realiza un cartel sobre cómo prevenir los contagios de Covid-19 en diferentes áreas cotidianas donde
solemos estar, por ejemplo: la casa, la escuela, los espacios públicos como el mercado o las tienditas de la
esquina.
Tu cartel será libre en cuento al diseño, debes recordar los ejemplos vistos en los ejercicios anteriores.
Puedes utilizar todo tipo de material que lo haga llamativo, igual puede ser material reciclado en casa.
Una vez terminado enviará un video exponiendo el cartel.
Esta será la rúbrica para calificar tu proyecto, la cual deberás copiar en tu libreta.

Instructions:
 Based on the text “Our time machine” you read at home (Reader´s book, pages 21 - 31),
complete a chart to describe the characters. (IN NOTEBOOK)

 In pairs, answer the comprehension questions on page 32 from the Reader´s book about the
text “Our time machine”.

 Read the text on page 33 “The beast in the cave” and order it.
 Then work in groups of 3 and complete the ideas based on what you remember from the story
(exercise 2, page 33).

1. Open your book on page 41 and complete exercise 1: Look at the pictures. Then, read the words
in the box. Write the words under each picture.
2. Now, let’s move on exercise 2. Read the sentences provided on it and complete them with a
word from the previous exercise we did during the last session.

3. In exercise 3, read the text and complete it with the words from the box.

4. Finally, let’s do exercise 7 on page 42. Read the instructions provided on it and put them in the
correct order. Write the translation below every line.

1. Let´s continue talking about experiments! Open your book on page 43 and complete exercise 9.
Look at the expressions provided in the exercise and write the complete expressions. Follow the
example given in the first sentence. Use a dictionary to help you!

2. Let´s move on exercise 11. Think about an experiment from your chemistry or physics class and
describe the process with all the details you can include.
***Use: First, Then, Don´t, You have to, Try not to, Finally…
***Each step must include a drawing that represents the instruction.

3. Now, on page 49, do exercise 3. Look at the procedure of the experiment indicated there and
order the steps to understand it. Don´t forget that a dictionary will be very helpful for you!
4. Finally, let´s move on page 50 and complete exercise 5. Use the words in the box to complete
the sentences.

Instructions:
1. Introduction: To close this period, you have to prepare an oral presentation about a famous
scientist. Talk about his / her life and work. Don’t forget to use quotes and remember to
mention as many details as possible. Visual aids are also important. Use the following space to
draw your scientist and to include the information about him / her.

2. Body: Research about an experiment your favorite scientist did and write the instructions to
carry it out.
