END OF TERM 1 REVISION AND EXAM SCHEDULE

Subject: English (Skillful)

I. LISTENING TEST
1. Test format
45 minutes (including instructions and wrap up)
In-class test

Part 1 Question 1-5 Listen to 5 short conversation twice and


choose correct picture answers (A, b or C)
Part 2 Question 6-10 Listen to a person talking about a topic and
answer questions with 3 options. Students
will hear it twice.
Part 3 Question 11-15 Listen to a conversation twice and
complete/ write the short-answer questions.
Part 4 Question 16 - 20 Listen to a person who is talking about one
topic; then complete/ write short-answer
questions.

2. Process
In the testing lesson, teachers guide students by following steps:
5 minutes:
 Teacher asks students to log in the Google Form and fill all
information.
 For this test, students are also required to write all answers on the
papers (just in case during the test, students have troubles with
internet connection). Student will have 10 minutes to transfer their
answer into the form.
25 minutes:
 Students listen to the test and write their answers into the paper.
10 minutes:
 Students transfer their answer into the form.
 Teacher checks for student’s submission.

II. SPEAKING TEST


1. Test format
1 Part only
2-minute presentation
Students will be given 2 cue cards of 2 different topics to make a short
presentation in 2 minutes. Students choose 1 topic to prepare for their talk and
upload their video to class’ Flipgrid project.
