3-1. Disassembly and Reassembly

1. Disconnect the LED TV from the power source before disassembly.


2. Follow these directions carefully; never use metal instruments to pry apart the cabinet.
-- Recommend Torque : 22.0 ~ 26.5lbf
CAUTION
• A strength of Torque can be changed depending on the situation.

1 Carefully position the TV so that the screen


is facing downwards. Make sure to place
the TV upon a soft cushion or any material
that will prevent damage to the screen.

2 Remove the Stand holder.

Remove the screws connecting the stand


to the TV. Then carefully remove the stand.

3 Gently lift up the Rear Cover from the


bottom corners to release all mounting
clips as indicated by Red Rectangles. Top : 6 point Locking
If tabs break, Using Back cover as it is.

L : 3 point Locking

R : 3 point Locking
Bottom : 4 point Locking

Insert the 'Open Jig' in a notch to open the

4-4 Finally Open the 'Rear Cover'.


Lift top side then pull back to remove the
back cover.

5 Remove the Electric tapes shown on the


images.
• EMI Filament Tape (Dressing)

NOTE

• When assembling the TV, the electric


tapes must be applied on the same
locations. Please remember to take
a picture of where the tapes were
first applied.

6 Remove the Harness Cable (Main B'd Harness Cable Harness Cable

7 Remove the ASSY SPEAKER P-FRONT.

8 Remove the WIFI module unit.

9 Remove the Assy Function unit.

11 Remove the DC VSS-PD BOARD.


• Gently lift up (Bottom Right corner) to
Board Placing Point

release the lock.


• Use both hands to hold the board and
slide to the left to release.

NOTE

When installing the DC VSS-PD


BOARD, verify the board is properly
positioned in all 4 mounting slots.

12 Remove the ASSY PCB MAIN BOARD.


• Gently lift up to release the lock
(Locking ).
• Use both hands to hold (Bottom chassis

When installing the ASSY PCB MAIN


BOARD, verify the board is properly
positioned in all 4 mounting slots. Slide to the left to release the board

1. Always remember to disconnect the Power Cord before assembling or disassembling the LED TV.
2. Always take precautions and follow the steps properly. Remember to take a picture before
disassembling if possible.
CAUTION 3. Recommeded screwdriver torque : 22.0 ~ 26.5lbf
-- The torque may need to be adjusted accordingly.

NOTE

Reassembly procedures are in the reverse order of disassembly procedures.
